Black Bear Diner

12/13/25- decided to give this place a second chance. Waited 25 minutes for a coffee and soft drink that never came. Waitress came back 30 minutes later and apologized for not having our drinks. She once again disappeared and we walked out. This place is a complete disappointment. Wait staff and management is terrible.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Whenever our waiter decided to come around he apologized for not being able to tend to us even though the restaurant was empty. Took him 15 minutes to get our drink orders.

Catherine is by far the best service lady weve ever had. She's approachable and nice and gave is great recommendations as to what is great in the menu. She's really knowledgeable, patient and so friendly. Overall Black diner offers great ambience and food are great. It's a must place to try. Thanks Catherine

Our waiter was Israel and he was very attentive. The food was excellent. Out out of town guest loved the food - she has the Fish and Chips as did I and my wife had the fried chicken on the taco salad which she loved. Thanks for a great experience.

Food was good but the potatoes weren't heated up enough. Cooked but not hot. But food was still good. Good coffee as well

Great food for the price the service could be better. When you have to walk to the front to pay or look for your server, that's not a good thing.

First time at black bear diner and everything was excellent - food was delicious, the service was great (Israel was so helpful and attentive) and the decor is so cute. We will definitely be back.
