We did takeout and the food was not hot when it arrived and the naan was cold and stale, these point to the food possibly not being prepared or stored at the right temps. I was sick all night with abdominal pain and my daughter was vomiting.

We think this is the best chaat place in Houston. We tried everything on their chaat menu and loved it. We also tried the Paneer pakodas which were a delight. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming.

While the food is delicious, we are not pleased with them as they automatically force charged 18% tip for a group of 5. For a full service restaurant, it makes sense. This is a fast-food restaurant, where you have to stand in line at the counter to place your order, get your own water and drinks. They only come and serve the food that was ordered at the counter. There is no service to serve water or anything else.
This way of fleecing customers and patrons is disappointing and I have decided to suspend going to this restaurant and will let all of my friends and family know about this.
