Food was great a little on the small side for the portion for the price. No atmosphere staff was dule. Overall not a bad place. Sides tasted store bought could use some help with that.
The restaurant was nice, clean atmosphere. Had some good old music playing. The service was very good. No wait whatsoever. As far as the food goes, it was okay, but nothing to write home about. Not really sure if I would return, maybe, maybe not.

Last night I was craving good bbq. I wanted a plate combination and did t want to travel far. I has t been to Brookstreet in years so I thought I’d give it a shot. The service was fast and friendly and the food was great. I chose the 3 meat, brisket, ribs and pulled pork The food was very flavorful and the beans and slaw were great. I won’t wait so long the next time

Food is ok. I ordered the special whish was supposed to come with fries. No fries to be found in my to-go order. I also asked for no onions on my sandwich and BBQ sauce on the side. I got onions on the side and a small amount of BBQ sauce on my sandwich.

Haven't been here in a long time since retiring. Ordered through their drive thru. The barbecue was excellent. The ribs were the best I've had, fall off the bone, the sauce was delicious as well. Loved the Jambalaya and the potato salad would have like a bit mustard in it but that's me. My favorite dessert is Peach Cobbler and I loved especially the crust. Service was excellent and very friendly at the drive thru window. Will be back more often.

This place is quaint and takes you back in time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The day I went, there were only 3 families eating there, which makes it all the more better for a great atmosphere and better staff attention. There were people coming in for take-out. The baked potato, chopped beef, and toppings were great. The chicken nuggets and Okra were great. It was a quiet restaurant and my dining experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Banana pudding carried this meal. It was good, 7/10. The Mac and cheese was runny instead of thick and creamy, 5/10. The greens beans were decent, but nothing out of the ordinary, 6/10. The brisket had no smoke flavor, it was tender, but pretty bland, 5/10. Pulled pork was decent, still lacked flavor, 5.5/10. Jalapeno sausage was ok, but too finely ground inside, I prefer a courser grind, 6/10. Sauce tasted like (and don't ask how I know this flavor) a burnt out sparkler firework. It was very bad 1/10. I think the price for the portions of food is fair, just not overjoyed at the quality.

It's clean. The prices are high, but I suppose that's expected with BBQ places nowadays. I got a brisket sandwich, but I'd get the brisket without the sandwich next time. We had brisket, sausage, and bbq sauce that was all mediocre. The sides were pretty good. We had the baked potato casserole, cole slaw, and macaroni and cheese. The pickled onions are really good.

The food was good enough (what they had) but this place is going downhill fast. I ordered online and found out they had no chicken again. Got there and was told they also did not have the regular sausage I ordered. I asked them to delete it from the order, but they couldn't give me a refund because there was no manager on duty? Got my food home and discovered the marbled brisket in my Stonehouse trio was lean. It's a shame. This used to be my go-to bbq place. I will still go to Brookstreet, but to the one in Richmond, not the one in Sugar Land.

Never understand why they weigh the BQ sandwich before they give it to you with the meat on the bun. Seems to me you get less meat when they do this? If they are restricked to how much meat goes in a sandwich weigh it before you put it on the bun. Since I question things I always get a nasty response from the manager who just think I am a trouble maker.
