So server / waitress were amazing and food quality was great. However, the manager needs to take lessons on good customer etiquette and/ or change their specific rules on waiting list. I was the first in party of 9 and walked into get us on the waitlist, but apparently you can’t get added to the waitlist until you have about half your party. Ok that’s fine, so I ask how long would you think it would take if my party was here already and the manager goes “I can’t tell you until your party gets here.” A simple “we aren’t that busy it would be 10 minutes” or “it could range from 10-30 minutes depending on how many parties arrive before for yours.” When my full party got there, I told them as they requested since at least half my party were here, the manager said something that I didn’t understand fully or hear, so I asked “how long will the table would take?” She gave me an annoyed “they getting it prepared now.” I understand that food service business is hard and customers can be annoying, but this interaction could have been totally mitigated. I will never come back to this Chuy’s due to this incident and I am glad that I don’t live close to this area.

Only reason this is 1 star, because I really enjoy your food. But $6 for an extra 4 oz side of boom boom sauce is freaking ridiculous.
It is almost 1/2 the price of the entree.
10/10 recommend Maddie as a server she was really awesome and very genuine. Can’t wait to be back.

The food was great and we love the atmosphere. It's not quite the original that we went to in austin, but it's wonderful. The prices are a bit high.

Great tex mex food! Almost everything is a little spicy and there are few “mild” or not spicy options outside of the kids menu. We went with a large group and they accommodated us with a reasonable wait time. Two waiters took care of our 15 person group and were attentive. One person had to wait 5-10 minutes more than everyone else for their meal and it was a little noisy with several large groups, but that was to be expected.

So glad we went to Chuy’s on Father’s Day. We had recently moved to the Houston area from New England, and were anxious to try some authentic Tex-Mex. We started off with panchos nachos, which were a delicious meal in itself. We then moved on to enchiladas, shrimp tacos, and excellent chicken and beef combo sizzling fajitas. Everything was great, and our server Ryan was very nice. We are already looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommended!
