Clean Juice – Concord Mills 2940 Derita Rd Concord, NC Subject: Complaint Regarding Quality of Berry Bowl and Customer Service Experience Dear Clean Juice Management, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had at your Clean Juice location at 2940 Derita Rd, Concord, NC, on [date of visit]. Unfortunately, my visit today was highly disappointing, both in terms of product quality and customer service. I purchased a Berry Bowl, which was processed by William at the register and prepared by Jamison. Upon receiving the bowl, I immediately noticed that the color of the açaí base appeared different from usual. Upon further inspection, I observed that some of the blueberries were shriveled, and as I continued to eat, I found chunks of strawberries mixed into the purée. Additionally, the granola tasted different, which made me question whether a different vendor was being used. However, the most concerning issue was the quality of the banana. After only a few bites, I encountered an overly ripe banana that should have been discarded rather than served. The overall taste and texture of the bowl were unpleasant, and after three bites, I decided to return it for a refund due to my dissatisfaction. Upon re-entering the store, I spoke with William and explained my concerns about the bowl’s quality. William responded by stating that he had witnessed the preparation and assured me that it was made according to the recipe. While I appreciate adherence to company guidelines, my complaint was not about the process, but rather the poor quality of the ingredients used. William continued to reiterate that the bowl contained all required ingredients, but that did not address my concerns regarding the freshness and taste. I mentioned that I had previously returned unsatisfactory bowls, which were remade without issue. However, in this case, I was so disappointed with the overall quality that I decided to purchase a similar bowl elsewhere. I even showed William a comparison bowl from Smoothie King, which had a noticeably darker purée and fresher ingredients. Despite my dissatisfaction, William informed me that he was unable to process a refund, and our conversation continued without resolution. The lack of flexibility in addressing valid concerns about ingredient quality and customer satisfaction was disappointing. He took my information and stated he had to reach out to his manager Deja. After a few days and no response I went back to the store and a different person was there. I told her that I had been in the week before on 2/28/25. I also informed her that I was told Deja would be contacting me in regards to my refund, it was now 3/5/25. She then texted Deja and the response she received is that I would now need to contact the regional manager that I have yet to receive any correspondence after I have reached out to her as well via email. I am a regular Clean Juice customer, and this experience does not align with the standards I have come to expect from your establishment. I would appreciate a response regarding how this situation can be resolved, as well as what measures Clean Juice takes to ensure ingredient freshness and customer satisfaction. Titania Morant

I’m obsessed with Clean Juice! I love their organic clean juices and smoothies so much! They have great clean food as well and it’s ALL ORGANIC. My son is 7 and loves all of their food and smoothies too. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good, healthy, clean change. Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly as well. They even have great kid options for picky eaters.

Impressively slow. Cash handling skills missing. Didn't have 16oz lids so gave me 2- 10oz cups half full. Seems 16oz in a 24oz cup wudda been btr. plastic plastic plastic...Zero tie in to clean environment or world. Just more of the same telling us u r different. Keep working at it!
