Clean Juice – Concord Mills 2940 Derita Rd Concord, NC Subject: Complaint Regarding Quality of Berry Bowl and Customer Service Experience Dear Clean Juice Management, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had at your Clean Juice location at 2940 Derita Rd, Concord, NC, on [date of visit]. Unfortunately, my visit today was highly disappointing, both in terms of product quality and customer service. I purchased a Berry Bowl, which was processed by William at the register and prepared by Jamison. Upon receiving the bowl, I immediately noticed that the color of the açaí base appeared different from usual. Upon further inspection, I observed that some of the blueberries were shriveled, and as I continued to eat, I found chunks of strawberries mixed into the purée. Additionally, the granola tasted different, which made me question whether a different vendor was being used. However, the most concerning issue was the quality of the banana. After only a few bites, I encountered an overly ripe banana that should have been discarded rather than served. The overall taste and texture of the bowl were unpleasant, and after three bites, I decided to return it for a refund due to my dissatisfaction. Upon re-entering the store, I spoke with William and explained my concerns about the bowl’s quality. William responded by stating that he had witnessed the preparation and assured me that it was made according to the recipe. While I appreciate adherence to company guidelines, my complaint was not about the process, but rather the poor quality of the ingredients used. William continued to reiterate that the bowl contained all required ingredients, but that did not address my concerns regarding the freshness and taste. I mentioned that I had previously returned unsatisfactory bowls, which were remade without issue. However, in this case, I was so disappointed with the overall quality that I decided to purchase a similar bowl elsewhere. I even showed William a comparison bowl from Smoothie King, which had a noticeably darker purée and fresher ingredients. Despite my dissatisfaction, William informed me that he was unable to process a refund, and our conversation continued without resolution. The lack of flexibility in addressing valid concerns about ingredient quality and customer satisfaction was disappointing. He took my information and stated he had to reach out to his manager Deja. After a few days and no response I went back to the store and a different person was there. I told her that I had been in the week before on 2/28/25. I also informed her that I was told Deja would be contacting me in regards to my refund, it was now 3/5/25. She then texted Deja and the response she received is that I would now need to contact the regional manager that I have yet to receive any correspondence after I have reached out to her as well via email. I am a regular Clean Juice customer, and this experience does not align with the standards I have come to expect from your establishment. I would appreciate a response regarding how this situation can be resolved, as well as what measures Clean Juice takes to ensure ingredient freshness and customer satisfaction. Titania Morant

Impressively slow. Cash handling skills missing. Didn't have 16oz lids so gave me 2- 10oz cups half full. Seems 16oz in a 24oz cup wudda been btr. plastic plastic plastic...Zero tie in to clean environment or world. Just more of the same telling us u r different. Keep working at it!

Great food and drinks with amazing customer
service. Very clean as well. They also have a prayer jar which I found to be very sweet.

$30 for two drinks?? They charged $2 per drink for no ice, ridiculous. Over priced. No customer service from the employee who looked like she wanted to be anywhere but at work.
Will not be back.

This will have been my third and last time at this location . Today, it took 40 plus minutes to receive my order and the worker , Darlene, specifically had an awful attitude ! I specified my dairy and wheat intolerances and she seems agitated at the requests. Even having to remake my sandwich because she added cheese - making the wait even longer as more people came in . The server decided to put the sandwich on the counter in front of me instead of bagging it as she did for other customers. Management needs to step in at this point .

Especially because I’ve had my to-go orders messed up too. Done with this location !

Staff is real friendly and welcoming. Tried a few of their bowls and smoothies. All have been refreshing and it just feels good getting a little treat that's both healthy and yummy.

clean juice sugarland is totally a mood for me. I feel my lightest when i having their protein bowl a few days a week, filling and helps me sleep better because of the avocado. Also love their peanut butter bowl, helps me stay away from the junk food that was so dear to me. great addition to my lifestyle

This place is part of our Saturday morning routine. After our 4-mile walk, we cool down with a refreshing berry bowl. It is gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and great for clean eating. Ask for Max and tell him Lindsey sent you. Happy eating ♥️

In town for a week and found clean juice and it was fantastic

This is an amazing place to come. They serve the best smoothies and the healthiest. Service is great also!! If you haven’t been, definitely come try it out.
