The 2 appetisers chili shrimp and malai boti were excellent. The curries were also excellent. What stood out was the softness of their chicken. Nowhere else in any Indian or Pakistani restaurant have I ever enjoyed the chicken, but here it is par excellence. Their goat meat tasted a bit wild. I was disappointed in the meat, but gravy was excellent. The paneer was very soft and nice big chunks. The rabri dessert was not upto par for a people coming from Kolkata, the master city of Indian desserts. It was not so much rabri as sandesh crumbled in milk. But then we have never liked any dessert served in any Indo-pak restaurant except Musaafer.
There was nothing on the website when I made my reservation to let us know that there was a Buffet set up for Mother's Day. The vegetarian options were dismal, and very bland.

First time at the restaurant. Server was very patient and even had an iPad to show more pictures of dishes we were considering. That was very cool. Food was fresh and prepared perfectly. We had a very nice time. Would certainly repeat.

We asked for some advice from the waitress that took real good care of us Pakistani food newbies, thank you Nikita. We always share whatever we order. The chicken malai boti was tender and tasty, grilled chicken, and chicken tikka handi which very tasty, slightly spicy and oh so good, we loved a couple garlic naans, great for sopping up the sauce from the tikka handi. Nikita said this dish was similar to chicken tikka masala.....yum. We had enough leftovers for a great dinner tonight.

Pulling up to Mai Colachi with Gucci shoes and Versace. They got great pakistani food like Karachi. If only pakistani restaurants had Mariachi I would also love it if they had Hibachi or italian Pagliacci....Blah blah blah Yea I am not Fox E. and I don't have a barbie and i don't have his ability ,poetry , mentality to rhyme like him , so i am a tad bit melonchaly. :( Mai Colachi is a great spot to bring friends to enjoy some indian / paki / chinese food . They have plenty of seating and a clean beautiful restaurant I came here on 2 occasions last month . I got the paneer butter masala and malai kofta Extra extra spicy came with an Indian friend from Guajarat that thinks he can handle more spicy then me. LOL boy was he in for a treat. We got the sesame naan and the whole meal was on point the dish was delicious . The spicy level was on point! my only con was that the dishes here are super super loaded with desi ghee which is butter. Really good though The other time I invited a client of mine for some chicken reshmi handi and beef ribs. they were also on point the beef ribs taste like korean BBQ beef ribs , but they are 100% HALAL . the Chicken reshmi handi with extra chillies was the star of the show ! It is like a spicy chicken pasta cheese without the pasta. Really amazing dish . I loved it. The drinks were also amazing . I got the coconut strawberry and my client got the berry drink .

Best Goat Shinwari karahi I have had in Houston. We tried the roghni and kalonji naans which were amazing. The service, hospitality and ambience was all great. Returning and returning soon.

Deliciously addictive Pakistani food! Make sure to get the Chicken Reshmi Handi, it's amazing, so creamy and indulgent! The Malai Kofte is also very good! They've kept it clean and have nice seating/ambiance for a desi restaurant. I appreciated the extra COVID measures they put in place with hand sanitizers at each table and a machine to check the temperature of everyone entering the establishment.

Mai Colachi is a bit more upscale and better ambiance/less quieter than Aga's. Their malai boti, shinwari karahi, and chicken tikka are some of things I've enjoyed. Their lassi and lychee shikanjabeen are good also. Overall, a nice quiet place where you can bring your family and friends to enjoy a meal. Great customer service and clean dining area. Only one con: The bathroom needs some attention
