Listen, I made an over 30 minute drive today just to get a plate of Mawmaw’s oxtails and rice with a double side of Mac. This food is AMAZING. Their hands are blessed. Do yourself a favor and just give this place a shot if you’re on the fence. You WILL NOT regret it.

I ordered a few times before writing a review because I wanted to really get a sense of the food and service. I’ve ordered three times now and each time the food arrived hot, seasoned to perfection with beautiful presentation. Finally! Food that is actually seasoned!! Many restaurants that I’ve tried are lacking in true flavor. My only gripe is the amount of dirty rice with the catfish ( not pictured) It’s sufficient but I do have big back tendencies so I always want a little...

Soooo dam good! Had the shrimp étouffée and it was amazing 🤩

Fried fish was 🔥

Cornbread was good and the Kool-Aid so sweet that you can make a whole other pitcher with one cup 🤪

Im definitely coming back lol 🫃🏻
