This place was truly amazing! And our visit here was in total alignment. We previously stopped at an restaurant that didn't meet our dietary restrictions and Dough Zone was literally two minutes away. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. The atmosphere oozes peace, balance and love. The staff is so warm, attentive and kind hearted.

I was led to utilize the QR code feature to look upon the menu with my restrictions to my diet. And I found, rather quickly, exactly what I would order. I packed the chicken and veggie wonton/dumpling soup and it was AMAZING. So full of flavor, the ingredients were fresh and light and I didn't leave with any digestive issues. The price was 🤌🏾 and I left knowing I would be back ASAP. Thank you an amazing experience ✨💗

Tried the umami veggie noodles and they were delicious. The fall seasonal dessert was also full of flavor. Service was great.

The dumplings are fine. Nothing great that would make me want to return.

First time ordering from Dough Zone as I was a visitor from out of town. Ordered the Spicy (Ma La) Noodles for takeout. What I didn't expect is having to put the ingredients on the noodles. The noodles were the perfect texture and after adding the packets of chili, soy sauce and rice vinegar, the overall flavor scored above average.

My only qualm was a not so pleasant aftertaste when I finished. I'm not sure if it was the rice vinegar that gave the weird aftertaste but I wasn't a fan.

Overall, I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Sugarland and try other dishes.

Our first visit and it hit the spot. We've been chasing dumplings to compare with those we've enjoyed in San Francisco, and these are great.
.
We ordered a rather too large variety so we could be prepared for the future. All the entrees were well prepared and tasty.
.
Totally dug the experience.

First time dining in and the food, the service everything was great and would highly recommend. We tried 5 different items off the menu. Upon entering we were greeted right away and our server Bethzy was so friendly and shared some of her recommendations. We will be back for sure!!

This place we tried the other day for lunch. Soup dumplings were good but could be juicier. We were a little disappointed on the Dan Dan noodles.

Staff not courteous. By 8:45, regardless of guests eating, they started preparing to close dragging chairs around noisily. Made us feel unwelcome.

Came in on Thursday at about 12:30pm. Nobody is at the front counter, waited a bit and figured, ok it’s self-seating. Sat down and scanned the menu link on the table — nobody came to take order. Actually tried to wave at a waitress after a while — she smiled, said hello, and walked off. So I decided to walk off too. Maybe next time I will get to order.

We had a fantastic dinner at Dough Zone in Sugar Land. Our family of six went for dinner and everyone left happy. The place is clean, plenty of seating, and although it was semi-busy, the atmosphere was comfortable and not too loud. Staff was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the whole time.

Ordering is simple and fun. You fill out a paper checklist to mark what you want, and they also have a QR code to view the menu on your phone. We decided to order a variety of dishes to try a little bit of everything.

We had the Dan Dan noodles, which were flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The green onion pancake was crispy and light. Both the spicy beef sandwich and the regular beef sandwich were delicious, each with their own sauce and flavor. The Chinese crepe was a nice change of pace and very enjoyable. The pork xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were a favorite at the table—full of broth and very satisfying. The steamed pork buns had that perfect soft top and crispy bottom. And the pork wontons in chili sauce were a hit, packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat.

Overall, everything we tried was tasty, and the whole experience felt smooth and well run. Between the clean environment, attentive staff, and delicious food, Dough Zone is a great spot for family or friends to enjoy a meal together. Highly recommend the soup dumplings, Q-bao, and Dan Dan noodles, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything here.
