I LOVE Fat Bao! Love both their locations and I am really sad to see their sugar land location close down and be replaced with Spice Lane. They were always so delicious and fulfilling. Their bags, their ramen, and their fries were so delicious everytime. I will definitely miss this location and will be visiting their Kirby location more often now ?

I honestly thought this store would fail after seeing 2 other restaurants fail in this location. Prices are okay, not cheap... but a little pricey for what a bao should cost but the quality hasn't changed since it opened. It's a nice snack to grab if you're looking for something quick and different.

I moved away from Houston to the west coast 2 years ago, and I still think about how great Fat Bao is. Their bao bread is super fluffy and I love their fusion combos. My favorites are the New Yorker and the bulgogi, but sometimes the bulgogi is a bit sweet. Price is pretty cheap for the quality of food you get. I miss you Fat Bao! Please consider moving to the west coast!
