I went here first time today to get nigerian food as am not used to buying food not made by me. I bought okro, stew and pounded yam. Spent $35 but regret going because the okro looks terrible and tasteless, the stew has so much Maggi( too much seasonings) and pounded yam has lots of yam flour on the lumps. I dumped the entire food I. Trash and I feel very sad about this. I hardly write reviews but this I can't ignore. I will never go back to this restaurant 😒.

The food smelled bad & tasted raw. Got pepper soup & my friend who is Nigerian hated it - said it was not seasoned at all. I got egusi and it was gross. I have had egusi before this was not it. All of the food went into the trash unfortunately.

Would give zero stars if available. Every food we got went in the thrash. Stew tastes like raw blended tomatoes, meat was so bland and tasteless. Went there in November but google just asked for my review today so why not.

The egusi soup was really tasty and full of flavor however mine was full of bones from the fish, so it's very hard to enjoy when it's full of bones. Take those out and it's 5

Very hot inside the restaurant. Food was prepped immediately. Everything tasted authentic. My goat smelled like it came from a barn, hopefully that is good. For the price I feel like there should have been a bigger portion.

I ordered the fufu and some fish. Ahhahah, i didn't realize that it was a finger food, but i know better now. It was awesome!!!! I'm just coming back to Sugar Land, and I was browsing the menu when I realized that I hadn't left a review. This time, I want to try the goat. Be aware that this food is spicy, and if you have IBS, you had better ask for a mild portion!

Best Nigerian restaurant in Houston
Very good customer service
I know businesses goes through a lot of ups and downs but the food is tasteless and the meat combination is bad. They need to do better. You ordered assorted pepper soup and they only give you tribe and i meat, soup as no taste. Bad idea
