Our kids were begging for ice cream so we googled for places near where we were driving and came up with this place. We all tumbled out of the car excited for ice cream. They were disappointed when we got in and discovered there was only these layered dessert jars or milkshakes. They didn't want milkshakes, they wanted ice cream. But we stayed cuz we'd had a huge day and didn't feel like picking something else!
Well it was very nice. We usually would buy 3 or 4 things in a situation like this and share. There is 6 of us and stops like this get very costly. But this time we all decided to get our own. It was pricey for sure at $8.49 per shake and 7.49 for the jar dessert. So I guess it was $49.94 plus tax. Wow!
Honestly I'm not sure we would go again. The milkshakes weren't so amazing that they were worth that price but I did appreciate that they were made with real ice cream! Hubby had the key lime pie jar (not pictured) and he liked it but again, not Heaven.
Also, my kids didn't all get their first choice milkshake cuz they told us they were nearly out of chocolate ice cream so we could only order 2 shakes that required that and the rest needed to be a vanilla base.
We went on a Sunday late afternoon and the place was dead. We were there likely 45 minutes and one other person came in. I feel like they would do well to offer ice cream, even just the couple flavours they carry for the shakes. All families love going for ice cream but it isn't often everyone wants a shake or drink. They do have some other drinks (smoothies, tea, and overnight oats). I guess they aren't an "ice cream" place. I just wonder if they're limiting their business. Need more variety or something to nibble on. That's my opinion!
It was an enjoyable time together but likely not a place we'd go again.
The decor was simple but classy. We enjoyed the nice seating. There was two areas like that and the rest is simple tables and chairs
The staff were very sweet and friendly and very patient with us when our kids took ages to pick their flavours!

The only the thing to close to heaven in a jar was flavored mousse or whip cream meaning ALL SOFT texture and dissolving in your mouth not melting.. NO cream cheese in the Oreo cheesecake or Key lime pie. Need to take the Red Velvet off the shelf. A Walmart mini cup cake spilt and stuff between 8ozs of mousse.Their top ingredient s mousse.. Totally disappointed ☹️

Came here to follow up our lunch with dessert in the area. We (3 in our group) each ordered different flavors: Red Velvet, Oreos and Key Lime. Neither of us enjoyed 'This Jar' which certainly wasn't heaven just a heaping of mousse. Would recommend the dessert should be layered like a Trifle. Because it's current status is underwhelming and annoying.

Love their desserts! Been going since they opened. They recently got the viral London strawberry’s that have chocolate on them. The chocolate was absolutely delish! The strawberries had gone bad but it’s ok we ate the chocolate with a spoon lol! The tirimassu and Oreo jars are so yummy as well. A must try!

The desserts were not that great, actually the dessert wasn't even sweet enough. Didn't feel like heaven in a Jar. Service was nice and friendly, ambiance was ok, fixed menu. Don't think I'll be coming back

I always order this for delivery so I’ve never been inside the actual store, but it’s so good. My goodness. It’s the perfect dessert, I only wish the jars were bigger coz it’s not enough (for me)

So I’ve never been inside the store, but ordered two cakes in a jar through Uber Eats and this is one of the best damn cakes I’ve ever had! I’ve never had cake where if you put it in the fridge and eat it the next day it’s STILL delicious and moist.The only thing that I would say would be better is if the actual cake part was thicker. There’s a lot of creams in these jars, so it would be a better balance if the sponge cake was thicker. But other than that 10/10.??

Stopped in on Valentine’s Day and got the Oreo cheesecake and chocolate tres leaches jars. The Oreo cheesecake jar was demolished the second we got home and it was phenomenal. The tres leches sits in the fridge awaiting us to finish dinner and we are excited. Def check these people

I got the half gallon jar for a party of 10 and they all loved it. Thank you to the hard working staff at heaven in a jar for their great desserts and customer service. 11/10.
