Very poor and unprofessional rude behavior of the owner Mr. RAJAN.
If I have had an option I would give no stars to this restaurant.
We had a very disappointing experience with Indian Summer while trying to arrange an important event. After already facing issues with another venue, we were relying on Indian Summer, but the attitude and behavior we encountered were unacceptable.
When I tried to explain my situation to the manager, instead of showing understanding, he abruptly hung up on me and even said, “I don’t want to understand your situation.” This kind of arrogance and rudeness is extremely unprofessional, especially in the hospitality industry.
As someone who has lived in the U.S. for many years and also works in customer service, I know how important respect and professionalism are, no matter what the circumstances are. Unfortunately, what we faced here was the opposite—disrespectful, dismissive, and uncultured behavior.
We ultimately decided not to proceed with our event at this restaurant. It is very disappointing to see this kind of attitude in a business that is supposed to serve people.

Cozy Indian restaurant with great food & a relaxed atmosphere. Went as a six member group for late lunch & we ordered a lot. Was surprised by the Idly. I would say the best Idlies I have had in the US at a restaurant. 🤩 Their gravies & starters were also top notch. 🤤 How have I missed this for so long. 🤔

Excellent Venue for a Corporate Event! We recently hosted a private corporate meeting at Indian Summers in Sugar Land, and the entire experience was exceptional. The event was incredibly well-organized by the restaurant's team, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The absolute highlight was the food. We were treated to an excellent variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. The fresh, hot naan was a table favorite, and the saag paneer and mutter paneer were both perfectly spiced and incredibly flavorful. Even the sweet dishes at the end of the meal were a huge hit with our team. The quality and taste of the food were top-notch.We would highly recommend Indian Summers as a venue for private or corporate events. The service and food are outstanding. Just a small heads-up for those planning a corporate presentation: the projector provided was a bit outdated. Its clarity wasn't very vivid, and it seemed a bit small for such a large, bright room, which made it slightly difficult to see; hope they change it soon. However, this was a minor point in an otherwise flawless event. Everything else was absolutely excellent, and we would gladly host another function here.

I went to attend a party there, previously name of restaurant was Madras Pavilion. I went there couple of times for family dinner, we always love that place, and location. But this time I went to attend a party, trust me their food is super good. Banquet Hall is also good enough for 50-80 people. I always like their Indian veg food.

Absolutely loved our experience at Indian Summer Restaurant!
The food was full of flavor. The Paneer Basil Taco was unique and bursting with flavor, (Tacos are usually made with corn or maida), while the Tricolor Paneer was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the Pistachio Kofta paired with Spiced Bullet Naan a rich and satisfying combo. The Vegetarian Fried Rice was tasty and well seasoned.
Drinks like the Chaas and Mango Lassi were refreshing and flavorful. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was served warm and fresh absolutely delightful! The Desilicious Chai was a perfect way to end the meal.
The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. They also have a party banquet hall, making it a great option for events or celebrations.
Overall, nice experience—highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy quality Indian cuisine in a lovely setting!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Uses them to cater two weddkng events and the food was phenomenal. Not only that but Mahesh himself paid so much attention to us at each event to make sure all our needs were taken care of. Such a unique menu too. All our guests were having about the food.

Ambience is very nice. Outside looked super dark, if we didn’t ask, we would have figured the establishment was closed.
Food was not that good. Didn’t feel like an authentic Indian restaurant. The Indian styled tacos were great though!
Suggestion for the owner/manager:: have proper tables and chairs. The low tables look nice, but it becomes super hard to eat when there is a large gap between the plate and mouth when sitting low. It becomes uncomfortable.

Wow! What a difference from about 7 months ago. The food was great and the service was amazing. The atmosphere is much pleasant. The Malai kofta is one of the best dishes, like no other in the area.
Mr. Rajan is awesome!
