We were impressed by Izakaya Ten. The chirashi bowl was incredibly fresh, with a nice variety of fish that made the dish enjoyable. Definitely a solid choice for anyone looking for fresh sushi in the area.

We visited Izakaya Ten for lunch today since my son’s school was closed for the country fair, and we’ve been meaning to get some sushi for a while now. This place was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my lychee martini, and my husband had a glass of wine. He ordered from the lunch special—a 5-piece Nigiri + Maki Combo that came with soup and salad. My son and I got three rolls: Tempura Roll, Tiger Eye, and Dragon, along with tempura onions.
Everything was great, and we shared most of the dishes with each other. We all agreed that we should come back again the next time we’re in the mood for sushi. The total came out to $80, including tax and tip, which felt reasonable for such a delicious meal.

Found this place through a friend and pleasantly surprised by the great food!! Good quality and good service. There are a few specialties they have that are quite tasty. The chairs and seating set up is not my favorite or the most comfortable but food is good.

We went for late lunch, so the room was pretty empty. Service was fine. I had the chirashi bowl and it was filled to the brim with fresh seafood! Yum! My guest had the grilled fish, and although I didn't taste it, it looked severely over cooked. The dumplings were tasty, as was the vegetable tempura. I don't live in Sugarland, and I would probably not go back.
They have good lunch specials! We ended up getting the chefs selection, we were satisfied. The salmon carpaccio was tasty. We could’ve gone without the Hama chili, the cuts were too thin and flavor was just ok.

If ones look for Izkaya style, it is not the place. Quality of food is below average.

Service was eh, menu was greasy and had a free meal in there.Ramen was like water and slight seasoning package, no rich bone broth taste. The egg inside the ramen wasn’t even flavored either. The noodles they choose felt like cheap instant noodles. It was so hot in there, I felt like I was outside eating. The bathroom was a sauna room. Wouldn’t even recommend this to my American friends either. The best thing there was the Tater tots.

I've been wanting to try a new Sushi spot for a while so we gave this place a shot the other day. Located in the old Spice Lane restaurant on William's Trace & 6, it's been completely redesigned. Nice, clean restaurant with a chill atmosphere. My daughter loved the wall of cats?
We tried a couple if different appetizers and two rolls. The Agadashi Tofu was good and we'll presented. The Baked Mussels came out hot and were good size, but there something about them though. They were good but I prefer the ones at another establishment we frequent quite a bit.
As for the rolls, the presentation was ? and looked like art on a plate. They were good as well but seemed a little small to me. I didn't feel like I really ate anything after I was done and I ate 75% of both, my wife had the rest. If they were a bit thicker and maybe a couple of pieces longer I would've felt full.
On the service, it was good. The waiter checked on us throughout our visit to ensure we didn't need anything. My only complaint would be that it took a bit for someone to greet us after we were seated, otherwise everything was good.
There's more than enough parking and handicap access as well. If you have kids, unless they eat this type of food, I'd make sure they were fed beforehand. Unless I overlooked them, I didn't really see any children's options on the menu.
Again, this is a nice little spot but if I'm dropping over $50 on a meal I want to feel full when I leave. That and the greet time delay are the reasons for the 4☆'s.

We stumbled upon this amazing little sushi place in Sugar Land. The ambiance is so inviting and the staff is incredibly talented and friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding, exceeding all of our expectations. It's safe to say that we've found a new favorite sushi spot in the area! TONY provided exceptional service, and my husband, son, and I had a fantastic evening.
??Truffle HAMACHI is highly recommended for its rich and earthy flavor profile combined with the delicate taste of HAMACHI.
