I came here before 7 pm with my family and was the customer in the restaurant. Thought twice to go somewhere else but decided to try the food. Food was good tasty and reasonably priced. Within 30 minutes the restaurant had 30+ guests. Overall very happy.

Very bad service, server was on phone and took 25 minutes to get chicken tenders then another 5 for full course. The food was drenched in oil and was not good quality. I used to come here and enjoy I do not know what happened but it needs to get fixed.

Not authentic Afghan food. When this restaurant was under its previous management, the food was amazing. In fact, the chicken karahi was one of the best I've had in the area. However, since the new management took over, the food is very bland and mediocre. The biryani hardly had any rice and the chicken karahi now is dull and lacking flavor. What's important to be mindful of is that the dishes are Pakistani-style, not Afghan. For a restaurant that advertises itself as Afghan, making food Pakistani-style isn't just problematic, it's unethical - not to mention, the geopolitics in the region make it worse. Also, it's extremely difficult to order food from here and their weekly "specials" are confusing (you'll be told one thing, but then they'll tell you the opposite). Please look elsewhere for authentic Afghan food.

We walked in to be greeted by flies flying around. There were food drippings on their white table cloth and food remnants on the seats. Food service was especially slow. We went as a group of 8 and there was another small table of people there before us waiting for our order. We waited 45 mins or so for the food. This is definitely not a fast food restaurant. Customer service and cleanliness I'd say was poor or lacking. Food was ok. The naans and prathas were good. Meat and rice was ok too. Restrooms were filthy with trash overflowing from the trash and with a roach scurrying around. Paper towel machine was jammed so I couldn't use a napkin after washing to turn off the faucet snd open the door. With how unsanitary this place is and the really long wait for service (even though the place was empty) we will not be coming back. They also lost some potential customers who Sat down in front of us and eventually left.

Neglected restaurant that is neither Afghani nor Mediterranean. The server herself said that the ‘Kabuli’ rice was just colored rice. The food was mediocre; too spicy even though we had requested it to be kept mild. Surfaces were covered in dust. We were not allowed to sit on the carpeted area because they said they could not keep it clean. Bathroom was filthy, dining area floor was dirty…makes one think how clean the kitchen was.

Walked into an empty restaurant on a Saturday evening at 9pm and we were very apprehensive. But the food was very delicious and felt it was cooked fresh. The malai tikka reminded me of back home in Delhi and the Goat Karahi was great too.

This place is greatWe ordered a family platter and they said it would feed 3 people and we had to ask for a takeout box.The wait is a little too long, and the place looks okay. The staff was nice as well.Definitely coming here again

Missed the marks across the board.1. Only half the restaurant was being used (we went on a Friday night), we were told that we could not sit on the carpeted area, and it was uncomfortably warm inside which indicated the AC was not up to par.2. Food was okay — less Mediterranean than advertised. Very spicy which is okay for me, but we had kids with us that were unable to tolerate it. We ordered beef kabobs and they gave us chicken kabobs, and when asked they ultimately denied that it was chicken. (Lol, okay).3. The staff was a little rude and passive. I asked the girl for a booster chair and she just walked away. Okay, if you are unable to bring it over yourself you could have told me where you keep them?4. Bathrooms are just….I have no words. I don’t think they’ve been cleaned literally ever.Luckily for us it’s located in a plaza where there’s no shortage of great eats and treats to make up for such a subpar meal/experience.

Kababi, is one of the most popular and ideal restaurant, in Sugarland, worth visiting and enjoying foods along with family members, equally enjoyed by the kids, having Halal Menu ?. Managed by the Experienced Gujratee family and very courteous, cool and adaptive staff and reasonable prices ?. Furthermore, it counts as a Food Street, as one can find ? additional stuff like burgers, drinks ? juices, Faludas of all ingredients and tasteful pans, again at costs, one can afford.

Must go place for ramadan iftaar. The new managment is great and the food is simply awsome. Their fish fry is out of world.

I went in the restaurant thinking it is Afghani/Mediterranean restaurant, as the name of the restaurant suggests. They had Indian/Pakistani Buffet not Afghani or Mediterranean. I tried their buffet with an open mind and didn't like the food at all. I am giving two stars because the staff was nice.

Delicious! First time eating this type of food. The lady was very nice and helped us chose a great meal. Love that she was able to get me a menu with pictures (yes, I really wanted to see pics). Thanks for a first great experience.

Although food is very oily, I enjoyed the Peshwari Kahari. I ordered a chicken kahari as well, that was lacking bit on the spices and tasted bland, but meat was cooked good.I also ordered fried rice. I tried eating it but I couldn’t.. it was drenched with black pepper I like black pepper, but the seasoning was extremely off to and wasn’t really enjoyable.I guess its a hit or a miss. Wouldn’t really go back
