Decided to check this place out during my search for authentic Mexican food and I’m so glad I did. Everybody loved the food and the place is run by a sweet elderly couple. They said they’ve been there for 25 years and I can see why! The stuffed chicken breast might be my new favorite dish anywhere.

Great home cooked Mexican and Central American dishes for breakfast and lunch. Carne guisada and guisado de puerco are excellent.

Opens early at 5 am on weekdays.

I eat at this family owned diner often when I visit Sugar Land. Simple breakfast menu and cafeteria line for lunch. Everything is fresh made including my favorite corn tortillas in Houston. Love the mole, green chile pork and tamales. Some reviews have complained about prices but I would rather pay a little extra and enjoy higher quality hand crafted food and support a family business. Portions are generous, service is friendly and the place is always clean.
