The jerk baked potato was very good. The plantains were cooked perfectly. I didn't love the Mac and cheese, the texture was mushy. I also didn't love the rice and peas, it wasn't as flavorful as I prefer. But the meats were excellent.

Hands down the best oxtails ever from a restaurant. The service was great and fast. The portions are priced appropriately. I had a great experience and I cannot wait to come back! I'm mad that I haven't been here before because it was amazing!! May God continue to bless this restaurant

I enjoy their soups and beef patties. I haven't gotten their food it yearrrs. Customer service can improve. Bring cash, there's an up charge for credit/debit.

Receipt says $40, my account was charged $44. They also gave me cabbage instead of plaintains. Jerk Chicken was old. Would not recommend or return. Shiesty business. There initial response is below. There was no “sign stating “cheaper w cash”. EVERYONE DO WITH THIS INFORMATION WHAT YOU WILL. Im tired of these businesses trying to take advantage.

Based on food alone this place deserves 5 stars. I ordered brown chicken stew, yams, Mac n cheese and jerk chicken. I didn't get there early enough for the plantains. But GOT DANG their food was DELICIOUS. I'm mad I hadn't found out about this place sooner. Hopefully next time I'll be able to get the cabbage and plantains.

The food was not what I was expecting with the attitude I was met with. I started by asking how much an extra side was to add to the meal and the guy at the window had a bit of a snark to his speech, but it's expected with Jamaicans where I'm from, so no problem. He then told me the yams cost the most. So I got curry chicken with sides of yams and rice and peas, with an extra side of plantain added on, also a chicken patty and Coco bread and 2 drinks. $25.59 total. ((Before ordering the side of plantain, I asked if they added any onto the meal like back home in Atlanta. This is when the guy basically told me I was lying and showed me a flyer of him to be DJing in Riverdale, Ga, claiming he had a party there this Saturday.) I have been eating Jamaican food for 15 years in several different restaurants in ATLANTA, GA and 2 or 3 pieces of small plantain is normal with a full meal!)) But since they didn't do that here, I ordered a full side of plantain, again, no problem!Food review: The curry chicken had really small cracked chicken bones mixed into the curry sauce, so it was really hard to eat consistently without picking through your mouth. Then I realized some of those little hard pieces were uncooked pieces of rice and overcooked beans from the rice and peas, which kind of made me angry. They gave me 2 yams in a puddle of yams juice as My side that came with the plate. And the side of plantain that I ordered as the extra side was the most dry plantain I've ever had. I took a bite from 4 of the pieces and then threw the whole box away. The curry chicken patty they gave me had a dark dry sauce baked on the outside so I asked the guy if the chicken patty was jerk and after giving me a weird look, they told me it was in fact curry. So I tore open the patty to show them what I had, they realized the mistake they had made and replaced the patty and ordered me to throw away the mistaken beef patty. All-in-All, The best thing I ordered was the Ting drink, and my son loved the chicken patty and Coco bread once they replaced it from the beef patty they originally gave me. Otherwise, I wouldn't return, either change your attitude or spruce up the food quality, especially if you are meeting people with the attitude I got walking in the door! We know y'all got bad attitudes, but the food usually makes up for it... Not in this case!

Very disappointed in both the food and the service. Ordered black cakes for Christmas, ended up having to throw them in the trash as they were virtually inedible (even the smell was off-putting), and definitely not fit to share with family and friends, as we had planned. What made a bad experience all the more disheartening was the attitude of the owner when we finally got her on the phone to share our concerns about the food - defensive, argumentative, not receptive even to constructive criticism. I'd had a little foreboding based on the poor quality of the food we ate the day we ordered the cakes, but there was nothing I could do as the cake order was already locked in and I figured surely they wouldn't dare take money for black cake (a beloved and most eagerly anticipated part of our Christmas tradition) if they weren't able to produce a worthy representation. The eggy, tasteless, brown mess I picked up was hardly fit to be called cake, less Jamaican black cake.
