Mochi Sushi

This is what as know as a "hidden gem." I'd probably put it against any sushi place in Sugar Land easily. It's small and quaint as neighborhood establishments tend to be. Their sushi is good, bento is great value, ramen is solid (I've heard a New Yorker say it was better than NY ramen. Take that as you will), manager seems to care about customers, wait staff is fast and generally friendly. This place is right in my neighborhood and I've only been there once years ago. We went tonight and it was great. We had sushi, gyoza, chicken katsu and ramen and loved it all. Great service, so close, nice folks we'll make one of our favorites.

The waitress, the atmosphere, the food, it was all meshing well to create a friendly mellow atmosphere. The Waitress was attentive but never overbearing, the grilled squid and eel was tasty and went well with the exported beer they have. The only thing is the place is small, but I went when there was no one and it was just perfect. A good place if you are new to Japanese food.
