We stopped in the first time today both knowing what to expect and were WAY more than pleased! We were here on Saturday afternoon at the Sugarland location and it wasn't packed - there was a good little crowd, some good music playing (but not too loud to hold a conversation), and prompt attentive service!
I don't remember our server's name because I'm the worst, but they were fantastic! They even suggested a mock tail for me to try when I asked about something nonalcoholic.
The food was DELICIOUS! I went with a "simple" BLT and what i got was a sandwich so good that i told my dad about it later. the deep fried bacon was thick and the perfect crispiness, the brioche bun was soft yet supportive, the butter lettuce was fresh and the tomato was ripe but not mealy. Very solid sandwich! The accompanying fries and Housemade ketchup tied the whole meal together.
One more thing… If you order the fried zucchini appetizer, you get a garlic Parmesan sauce that I wish I had gotten a pint of while I was there. That was the real stand out to me - I could've put that on everything!
We will definitely be back again!

Crazy menu, fine dinning twist on everyday menu items. Sliders to tacos, the cob salad is insane. Great drink prices!

Just got the blackened wings as well as chips and queso to go. The wings were burnt, super dry and some barely had any meat on them. Also, in the bag it was chips but no queso.

Scholars’ food is a hit or a miss but I know when Sam is working the drinks will always be good! If y’all haven’t been to scholars when Sam is working then you are missing out! Her schedule has not been consistent, so I don’t know the days she works. If someone from Scholars is reading this please let us know when she comes in!
