I love this place. It's my daughters favorite place as well and just found out they will be closing in 6 weeks. I'm so sad. Best wishes and prayers for Patricia and her family.
A quaint little relaxing place for a ladies get-together ♡
Excellent excellent! This place was super cozy and a great place for a light snack. My husband and I tried the Gingerbread cream tea, and the blend was great. The cranberry scones were great with and without the cream and lemon curd as well and the sandwiches were some of the best I've ever had at a tea place, period! We will definitely be back!❤️
Pretty good place to have tea and scones would love better presentations of tea and dessert to be able to be more enticing and welcoming. The staff are friendly and kind.
The tea and food are quite enjoyable.
I took my adult daughter here for an early lunch when she was visiting from Austin and was lectured by an older man (owner?) that we should not show up without a reservation. Reservations were not required by the previous owner and if they had been, she certainly would have not been so arrogant in telling us. The food was good, though, but the experience here was not what it used to be.
Really a quiet & relaxing place to enjoy with family or friends.
I met a friend here for Tea. The tea deserves 4 Stars but the service was the reason for the 2 Stars. We were doing fine until the Server came to the table to tell me what I ordered wasn't available. The problem was how he informed me. He insisted this was communicated from the beginning...Me nor my guest was told this. He was very pushy and insisted he told me and was very RUDE! I would have been fine and would have chosen something else but the way he forced me to agree with what he said (IN FRONT OF THE OTHER GUEST) was the problem. A HUGE problem.
Very kind people, setting, food wonderful and tea is delish!
Today I found out after eating there that my $60 bill with a $20 tip (34%) today because my waiter was really good. So it was a surprise to find out that the owners told them we tipped $11. So did the owners pocketed the $9?

This little tea room is so quiet. You walk in and not blown away by the decor, but you feel at home right away. This place is run by a sweet older couple and they welcome like you have just walked into their home, and you feel that! The tea selection is large and they make a great service to match! John and his misses have really made a welcoming tea room here, job well done!
We hosted a tea party baby shower at Serenitea today ! The staff was amazing ! John was responsive throughout the entire planning process . Patrica and the other ladies were so helpful and nice to me and to our guest!!! I would recommend hosting a party here or just visiting them for afternoon tea .
Huge portion of Egg salad sandwich
I enjoyed that Serenitea Tea Room is in Sugar Land and close to the office. I equally enjoyed the personable, fun and friendly waitress. This is a traditional English tea house in Texas. Plain Jane atmosphere, several choices for tea and a variety of tea sandwiches. I had Alfajores for the first time. They are Argentinian dessert mini cookies made out of shortbread with a caramelized sugary condensed milk filling. I liked them but wondered how did they get on the menu of an English styled tea house? Albeit, a pleasant surprise.
Lovely little place, quaint, and hidden. Food is delicious and service is done with a smile. The tea selection is pretty good, and I love the tea cup selection the most. Well worth the cost.
