Less than half the filling in the filled donuts! Never seen a donut place skimp on filling, but you have to take 5-6 very plain bites into the donut to get to the filling, upon first bite you can visibly see that the filling is only in the latter half of the donut. The person filling the donuts needs training!

I think this location takes advantage of mobile pick orders and just put anything in the bag even if the donut was cooked hours ago. I get it, you guys wanna save money and not waste food, however I come to Shirley's for the quality. Nobody in the game has donuts and kolaches like Shirley's, however if im paying $1.35 for a donut, it should be a $1.35 I'm getting. People come here rather than going down the street and paying half at the mom and pop shops. Have to do better, and the only reason why I didn't check my bag is because I was in a rush to get to work, I ordered donuts which were hard and dry, the kolaches were overcooked.

WTH are these??? The glazed donuts left a waxy substance/ taste in my mouth. This doesn't taste like Shipley AT ALL!!! Must be a franchise skimping or "substituting" ingredients to save 💰. NEVER AGAIN 🤮 ... looking at the other reviews, I'm not the only one. Everyone can't be lying.

Dare I say the worst tasting Shipley's in the area.. I say this due to the taste of the glazed donuts. They put the very least amount of glaze on them. NO other Shipley's taste the way these do (and thats not a good thing) I have been there a couple of times out of desperation, due to lack of time to travel to another Shipley's and each time I've been hopeful, but disappointed. The donuts are dense and lack the essential ingredient... GLAZE.. The owner needs to visit another Shipley's and figure out how the other stores cook and apply their glaze so that it adheres to the donut and taste like all the other stores. This location is in my neighborhood and I will be happy when I can just travel down the street to get my donuts instead of several miles to get them. Shipley's is the ONLY bakery i like and I love their donuts, so believe me, I know what they are supposed to taste like and this place misses the mark on the glazed donut

Arrived at 5.50pm and they are saying it’s closed while they sit inside and staring at you.

Good service. Unfortunately I probably will not return. They stopped making the bacon cheese kolache. It was amazing. Two thick slices of bacon and plenty of cheese.

Their new bacon choice is egg, bacon, and cheese. A lot of egg. Hardly any bacon. Some cheese.

It is a sad day.

Good for a quick bite. It's not the best for eating with a bunch of people. The dining area is small so having too many people makes it too crowded.

Another horrible experience at this place. My family and I attended the Astros Hispanic Heritage Festival and were given some coupons for free donuts from the pop up Shipleys display at the ballpark. As soon as the lady at the drive through window saw the coupon in my wife’s hand she just turned and walked away as rudely as she could. She never came back and a man came to the window refusing to take the coupons. The coupon clearly says 1 free donut per person per transaction and this man refused to take any. After an exchange of words he agreed to take one only despite my children being in the car us. To be clear, I don’t need a free glazed donut. I can afford many, many donuts. But when I get incentivized to visit a business by being given something for free I expect that to hold true when I do my part and show up. I wasn’t going to this location to take advantage of a free donut and not buy anything else. This was simply a bonus to what we were already purchasing. After this final experience at this location I can confidently say I will spend my money elsewhere despite being given any incentive. As a regular visitor to Astros games, I truly wish they’d cancel their partnership with Shipley. This isn’t the first time this has happened and for some reason these employees act as if 1 free glazed donut comes out of their check. The last time this happened I left a negative google review and the owner reached out with his apologies promising to do some training with the employees and promising this would not happen again. Guess what… nothings changed.0

The owner decided to stop doing the bacon and cheese ones and that was the only reason to come to this store. Bring them back

I recently visited Shipley's Doughnuts and was disappointed with my experience, as was my co-worker. I ordered doughnut holes, strawberry milk, and a cinnamon roll. Unfortunately, the strawberry milk was sour (both mine and my co-workers, even though it was still a week and a half away from its expiration date. Additionally, the doughnut holes were dry and lacked the freshness I expected.

While I have enjoyed Shipley's Doughnuts in the past, this visit was not up to their usual standards. I hope the management can address these issues to ensure a better experience for future customers.
