Shipley Do-Nuts

It says open but nobody ever came to the drive thru window. Nobody inside.

Ordered glazed donuts the morning of 11/25/25 for my office and didn’t check inside the box before leaving the store. Quality looks very questionable especially with all the dark spots on the donuts. Would NOT recommend this location!

This donut shop has the worst customer service. There’s an older gentleman who sometimes works the drive-thru window, and my experience with him was very disappointing. I ordered a dozen donuts split into two separate boxes — each with 3 chocolate and 3 glazed. Instead, he came back with donut holes.

I clarified that I had asked for donuts, not holes, and explained again what I wanted: two boxes, each with 3 chocolate and 3 glazed donuts. Rather than correcting the order, he started arguing with me, insisting that I ordered donut holes. I told him respectfully that I didn’t, and that if I had, I wouldn’t have asked for two boxes.

Instead of simply fixing the order, he continued to argue. At that point, I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle and left. I’ll take my business elsewhere — somewhere that values customer service and actually listens to their customers.

Donuts were dry. The filled ones were pretty skimped on the filling. I was hoping making an early morning order would get me fresh ones but I guess not.
Go to the mom and pop place up the street.

The service is EXCELLENT and fast on every visit. I come 1-2 times a month as a treat and always get two sausage and jalapeno kolaches. The quality of the kolaches has declined in the last few months. The last 3 times, the bread is getting more overcooked, less fluffy and dusty, and the cheese inside burnt or not existant.

We usually come here after dance class as a “treat”. The donuts are good but the service is lacking. I will say that their kolaches are always on point compared to the location close to home.

very bad experience! We ordered 2 ice coffees, the lady gave us hot coffees, then the old gentleman re-made with terrible taste. I think he reused the hot ones to make. Definitely never comeback.

Owner provided a tour of the facility. The kitchen, prep area, and freezers were clean and in good order. The pastries and coffee were very tasty. We will definitely make this our go to store!

what can i say. all i have ever heard about when i moved here has been shipley donuts. this is one i first saw and went to. if i want a quick fix, yes. here i go. shipley's. always fresh and good.

Less than half the filling in the filled donuts! Never seen a donut place skimp on filling, but you have to take 5-6 very plain bites into the donut to get to the filling, upon first bite you can visibly see that the filling is only in the latter half of the donut. The person filling the donuts needs training!

I think this location takes advantage of mobile pick orders and just put anything in the bag even if the donut was cooked hours ago. I get it, you guys wanna save money and not waste food, however I come to Shirley's for the quality. Nobody in the game has donuts and kolaches like Shirley's, however if im paying $1.35 for a donut, it should be a $1.35 I'm getting. People come here rather than going down the street and paying half at the mom and pop shops. Have to do better, and the only reason why I didn't check my bag is because I was in a rush to get to work, I ordered donuts which were hard and dry, the kolaches were overcooked.
