Rang Coffee has such a great atmosphere. Sometimes, finding a real coffee shop can be tough because there are so many boba places everywhere.
This café is perfect for relaxing or getting some deep work done. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the space, making it even more inviting. I also really like the type of ice they use.
Today, I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The beans are well-roasted, but it's not as strong as the ones you'd find at Vietnamese spots in Bellaire or many pho restaurants, where the coffee is often exceptional—better than many trendy cafés.
As for the taste, it's good, but maybe I'm just used to a stronger brew. The sweetness from the condensed milk wasn’t quite there yet. However, the ambiance and cleanliness here are absolutely top-notch!

Drinks -Rang Mem Xiu $6.75 (coffee, condensed milk, & milk) : surprisingly bland. Not strong, not sweet, tastes like watered down coffee. 6/10 -Rang Ben Tre $7 (Coffee & Coconut Frappe) : tastes like a stronger version of a coffee frappe with a hint of coconut. 8.5/10 -Rang salted caramel $6.5 (coffee, condensed milk, salted caramel cold foam) : bitter strong, not sweet , with a half hint of caramel. (I prefer sweet) 7/10
Food Custard Bun $4.50 (bao egg custard) : tastes like vietnamese egg pudding. Sweet. 7.8/10
Place : free strong wifi, lots of outlets + extension cords, strong AC, cozy music, plenty of seating for a smaller place. One restroom. Lots of free parking outside.
The owner was there and she was really nice, she walked around asking people of their opinions about the drinks, looking to improve their recipes.
Nice place to try out, the drinks needs a little more flavor, BUT the place is super cozy so it makes it up for me.
Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen kids come in. Some stay, some don’t. There’s no children chairs though.

Asked for one of their iced coffees(rang sua da) and got excessively large amount of ice in the glass. At 7 dollars for a coffee i expect there to be more coffee than ice. As you see in the image way too much ice. When i asked the manager about it she said its just how it is...and went back to the kitchen. No attempt to accommodate or explain the thinking behind so much ice. Horrible customer service.

The day we went the place was very busy because there was an event with multiple pop ups and vendors there which was super cute but the service definitely reflected it. The baristas seemed super stressed which i understood so i don’t blame them and were moving super fast but our drinks still took a while. They were good definitely not the best and somewhat reasonably priced so i enjoyed and they use crushed ice which i lvoe.

Iced Ube Coco Latte is a new favorite experience! It’s unique, not too sweet. I love that they make each coffee with such care. You might need to wait! The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Not to be ‘that person’ but my salted foam Vietnamese coffee lasted a full 3 minutes of me sipping it before it finished. I couldn’t believe that this almost $9 drink(I ordered in DoorDash) was done in about 6 sips…. Like normal straw sips. I looked down and saw the entire cup was full of ice!!! The picture is AFTER some had melted. I was so disappointed because I had hoped my drink would last my 10 mins drive at least. I might go back because they were super yummy 6 sips but I would definitely ask them to keep that ice LITE

Rang is definitely a Sugar Land hidden gem. I'm so glad I found this spot, and I've been a regular ever since. The staff is really friendly too. I'm always down to try new drinks, and Zay has helped me to experiment with that. It's a 30 minute drive for me, but so worth it!!

I found this place while browsing through Instagram and was very happy that I visited. I order the green tea matcha and honestly it was amazing. The store atmosphere was cozy and cute. I will come back in the future when driving by the area.
