First off they put us in a booth for 4 to accommodate a bday party of 6. Although I had a reservation for over a week. The restaurant was empty. We went because they had live music but the guy playing the music was beside the front door behind a wall so you couldn't see him or even notice he was playing. We ordered The restaurant week menu l, flank steak with chimichurri and my plate didnt have the chimichurri and my friends plate was like a prime rib or something, all fat. We ordered alcohol drinks and when we got the bill , we were charged for the drink and then they added an additional $2 for each cocktail?? Our table was never cleared , our bday photos was full of dirty dishes. We kept having to stack them. Our appetizer board/ plates stayed the entire 2 hour dinner. We wanted to support the restaurant but the food and service was sub par and none of us will return. Very unfortunate.

We recently visited State Fare Kitchen for the first time, and while the food itself was good, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. We were seated in a room with a very large party, which made the noise level uncomfortably loud. There was only one waitress covering the entire section. She truly did an amazing job doing the best she could, but she had no support, which left service feeling very slow and scattered. Most of the tables around us sat dirty with plates, food, and trash for quite a while before anyone came to bus them. When we arrived and checked in with the hostess, there was no warm greeting—she simply grabbed menus, walked us to the table, and left without a word. That lack of hospitality set the tone for the evening. It's unclear if the restaurant was simply understaffed that day or if this is their standard operation, but the combination of poor ambience, unwelcoming service, and the overall disorganization made our first visit pretty disappointing. Unfortunately, we don't see ourselves returning.

It was mildly slow and picked up a bit.the food was good and our server was good- it appeared he was serving all of the tables on one end of the restaurant but he did what he could.

Excellent dining experience! Live music (an incredibly talented singer/guitarist). The ambience was perfect and it wasn't too loud. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the birria grilled cheese sandwich. The service was top notch. Loved the booth!

I am a pescatarian and thoroughly enjoyed the salmon bites! I was disappointed because I saw the black bean hummus and it looked delicious on the picture. I asked for this item and the server said it's not available but doesn't know why it's still on the menu.

I had the birria eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. I ate half and was stuffed. Great vibe and very good with kids at that time of day. I could see it being a really fun spot to grab a drink at too
Parking: There are multiple parking garages in the square but there is one very close to state fare. When i arrived i found parking immediately but was waiting for a friend and we had to drive up a few floors to find something

My wife and father in law went for lunch. To our surprise, my wife saw a long time colleague, Kim (manager I believe)! She was wonderful and the service was great, the food was incredible! If you are looking for a place to have great drinks, a variety of food, and for us as vegetarians, it was greatly received and cook to order made this an incredible experience. Aesthetically pleasing, and some comical art work on the restrooms.Would recommend!
Vegetarian options: Cook to order, will make it without meat, if needed.

We ate here on Christmas Eve. We were 7 including one 4 year old. Our reservations were at 6:15 and the place was kinda empty, which surprised us. We were asked to wait awhile while they prepared for us. Another party was also waiting. Then we got it , they were understaffed . I was wary as I saw no bartender and just a few servers albeit they weren’t crowded. Our server Max came over and we felt better. He was cool calm and collected. Given the circumstances he was great. Drinks were delayed but the app came out quickly and the meal followed. It worked out fine. Max made it right and Quintin, the manager came over several times to check on us. The bottom line I understand the staffing issue but they didn’t overbook and it was handled correctly. Kudos to these guys

I visited earlier this year and paid by credit card. Later, I saw 2 transactions. 1 I approved, the second one, I didn't. I contacted the store and they stated they would take off the incorrect charges and for the inconvenience an $15 giftcard would be left in the safe.
Guess what no gift card! No one knows anything now. Please if you eat here please pay in cash. They will charge you after you pay and just charge your credit card.
It must be common practice since when reported it wasn't seen as an issue that I felt serious as theft!!
