Authentic traditional breakfast of Taiwanese. Tried many kind of rolls, noodle, sticky rice…. And I love all. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Tiny little spot that we wanted to try some Taiwanese food. Didn’t order too too much today as it was just me and the missus. Beef noodle soup was tasty and beefy flavors. Soup Dumplings were awesome, hearty and savory.

Friendly staff, delicious food! Got the rice roll- which was definitely filling, and the two egg pancake which was delicious. When I visited they had a buy one get one free deal on the cold soy milks! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice breakfast/lunch stop

If you haven’t pulled up to TX Rice Roll, jump in your car and roll over there asap! Just make sure it’s before 2:30 pm. Understandably so because this is Taiwanese breakfast food. Breakfast or not, I could eat this all day!!! Shoutout to my friend for recommending this place to me. Been here twice and I’m already a believer.I’ve ordered the Double Egg Pancake twice. This pancake is huge and folded a couple times, still bulges with so many fillings and bursts with flavor. My favorite part is the crunch inside the pancake. I need double the appetite, so I can order two at the same time.I’ve ordered the congee with fried breadsticks. That was amazing! Just straight up comfort food. I’ve never been to Taiwan but I felt like I was at home sitting at the breakfast table while eating this.I’ve eaten four rice rolls so far. The Vegetarian, Tuna, Sausage and Beef roll. They were all spectacular! This is like a portable meal in itself. I cannot even pick a favorite right now. They were all delicious! I’ll be back to try the Tao, Eel and probably the rest as well. Such an interesting concept, reminiscent of kolaches or tamales, not in flavor or ingredients but in satiety and portability.Lastly, I tried the salty soy milk. This was very interesting. I expected something more salty but it was very nice. I picked all the ingredients floating in there and ate them first then drank the rest down. I’m not sure I’d order that again but I didn’t leave one drop this time.Overall, the food was excellent! The ambiance is upbeat and active with customers constantly streaming in and the cook staff buzzing around the kitchen like honeybees. The conversations in the restaurant are lively and people are enjoying themselves. Somehow with all that activity it still feels very homey and relaxing. I’d take a nap there if I could. With a full belly, it will be a struggle not to doze off afterward. The space is small but I’ve never had to wait or not get a seat.Awesome place! Awesome food! If you want tasty, fast, authentic Taiwanese food, answer the roll call at TX Rice Roll today!

I am so happy to see such an amazing Taiwanese breakfast place open in Sugar Land - it's been a long time coming to have incredible food options outside of Bellaire/China Town. The food here is super fresh and authentic. I highly recommend dining in especially for the fried options. I do love a good pairing of the fried breadstick and the soy milk. The rice rolls are also super delicious - I am partial to the eel, but love all them really. The congee is great for cold weather or when you're feeling a little under the weather. Parking is super easy in the gigantic Welfresh parking lot. Staff are super nice and helpful. It's been popular when I've gone but never super crowded so no long lines/wait times.

The owners are really sweet and my mom and I really like the Tao Rice Roll. Great place for breakfast (they also have coffee etc) - I ordered a latte and they even put a little heart on it. The place itself is really cute with wood/modern accents, I could see myself catching up with a friend or doing work in here

I went to this restaurant because a few out-of-town friends wanted to go there. I myself did not have much expectation. Then I was surprised by the food quality, with their sesame pancakes (燒餅油條) uniquely prepared and very tasty. The servers were all very polite. And we enjoyed wall decorations of the restaurant . Apparently I was not the only one who was impressed, as the restaurant had many other customers on a Monday morning when the restaurant traffic is normally light. I cannot how busy this place can be on a Saturday (they don't open on Sunday). I think I will go back there soon.
