Teapioca Lounge

Seems to be permanently closed. I drove by on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 10:30 am and the sign was gone from the building and black tarp over all the windows. I didn't manage to take a picture, but wanted to post to inform others.

There's just so many good boba tea shops in Sugarland. This teapioca really surprised me by their drink quality. I ordered a grapefruit green blasted and it's really good and refreshing. Not the cheap flavored tea but fresh tea with bulbs. Their milk flakes ice is also outstanding. Although the toppings I got was less than I expected, yet it's still really good. The pudding and herbal jelly is really Taiwanese style. The price is really reasonable compared to all other boba shops. Would definitely come back. The Icon looks like Retsuko's cousin lol.

Cream matcha tea - good. Not too sweet. Not too matcha-y.

Taro coconut smoothie - also good. Not too sweet. You can taste the taro and coconut.

75c for boba. They definitely load it up. Decently soft.

$13 something for 2 regular sized drinks (22oz). Seemed like a lot of volume so it was worth it. However, I do notice a handful of reviews complaining that their drinks tasted watered down. I can see their point. Typically I have to get drinks at ShareTea at 80% sweetness. The drinks I got here were mildly flavored, which i guess is fine if you're not wanting something super sugary. I don't like herbal teas either, so i don't like my drink to be bitter or tea-like.

This was my 2nd time here. The 1st time (2024), I tried a brown sugar drink.

Amazing drink place! Plenty of seating for dine-in and there is little to no wait time after ordering. Would visit this place again!

This place has really good boba tea but they made the “cream matcha” without milk and it tasted gross! The jasmine tea was great. My biggest issue that took away a star was that they played the SAME SONG on REPEAT the WHOLE time we were there. We were there for about 3 hours, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was still playing right now (writing this the next day). We asked two different workers TWICE to change the music because the same song had been playing the whole time and they both said, “No. 😐”
They didn’t even give us an explanation. This was really annoying.

Went in to order and no one was there. Stood there for about 5min and called out to see if they were maybe in the back. Nothing not a single employee. Very weird.

The atmosphere was okay. But the service was kinda bad.
The guy working the counter seemed like he hated his job giving me the stink eye, and he didn't hear anything I said.
The boba wasn't bad though. That's why I rate this place 2 stars.

Tried to order an iced tea sweetened with stevia and add fresh fruit because I’m diabetic and everything else is loaded with sugar. The employee refused to sell me this drink and said they can’t put fruit into their iced black tea, only their green tea. I then tried to order and iced green tea with strawberries and he still refused because the fruit green tea comes with juice and I asked to have it without the fruit juice.. I was honestly shocked that he refused to sell me a drink after explaining I was diabetic and couldn’t have anything with a lot of sugar. I literally just wanted a cold iced tea with stevia and fruit.. MAKES NO SENSE.

A lot of options to choose from and everything is good

It so hard for me not to come here every week especially after introducing teapioca to my family and friends. I continue to do tapioca runs for them because this location has great service, always make the drinks perfect and delicious! The lady that works here is so kind and have wonderful customer service. 10/10 place. Favorite drinks to get here is the taro coconut smoothie!
