I first had Torchy's Tacos in Gilbert, Arizona, and was super impressed. Being from Utah, I don't have Torchy's in my area. I was in Houston for a job, noticed there was a Torchy's by my hotel, and decided to go. It did not disappoint—it was just as fantastic as I remembered. I'll definitely continue to stop at Torchy's everywhere I go.

I had an amazing experience at Torchies Taco off the 59 freeway! My brother just turned 21, and they made his first visit here one to remember. The vibe was great, the food was fresh, and the service was top-notch.
Laurissa and Lewie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — real standouts! Definitely coming back soon. 🌮🔥 Very clean establishment and ran well

The only decent food at this place is guacamole, everything else, it's a stomach ache waiting to happen. The drinks and food are very poor quality. I tried this restaurant once and I will never go back.

I requested a brush fire with corn tortilla with Chipotle on the side. I was brought a brushfire on flour with the Diablo sauce. Not a big deal, but when they brought back the chicken from the taco that was dripping in the Chipotle sauce flipped onto a new corn tortilla with the old meat...it was kind of an issue. Not sure that this would be standard practice or if the bartender was too uninterested to be attentive. Not the best experience.

I recently started going to Torchy’s and have loved both of my experiences so far. The tacos are always full of flavor and really creative, the service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes dining in enjoyable. Bonus points, they have the good ice too! Definitely worth the visit.
