Disappointing

Very Disappointed! I took my boyfriend there for a special night out. We thought we were going to the original location at I-59 and Hwy 6. The restaurant had moved and everything good about them was lost in the move. The menu was extremely limited. they only had 3 steaks on the menu! The food was bland and tasteless. We brought chocolate cake home for a late night treat. It was soggy and unpleasant to eat. We will not be going back again.

Know this restaurant since it was at Laje Pointe. The menu is smaller than the old rest. Food is good ang tasty.

My boyfriend and I went here for our six month anniversary. The vibe was excellent and the food was just as good. I had the meat ravioli and he had the chicken fried chicken. Both were fantastic. I'd also recommend the fried onions! Absolutely delicious. Since it was our anniversary, they brought us a piece of tres leches cake with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate, and a small glass of rose with our dinner. A very sweet touch that was very tasty. We'll definitely be going back for regular dinners!

Great place around the corner from us. Nice inside, staff is always friendly and welcoming. Good menu, the food is always cooked to point and very tasty. Nice selection of liquor and wine too.

Let's be honest: we've been waiting to try out Veritas and we chose Valentine's Day. We ordered steak and chicken. The steak medium plus. While my food came and tasted well (the chicken was actually really good), my wife's steak came raw inside. The waiter took it back, and returned, still raw. We did this 3 more times until the meat was finally medium plus. The big fail here: Because my wife's meat wasn't ready, I needed to eat my food as long as it was hot and hers was finally appropriately prepared even only after I finished. No apologies from the restaurant, great Valentine's Day dinner when you go out but have to eat separately because a steakhouse doesn't get the steak done as ordered. We were charged full price for poor service. Sad.

Food and service was great but the restaurant smelled like sewage. It was so bad that we rushed our dinner and even noticed a couple Of other patrons leave shortly after being seated without ordering.

Great local venue. Food is good. Apparently there has been a complete change in waite staff of late. Had a set menu for Christmas Eve which was a bit pricey but we enjoyed the evening.

Very pleasant experience with our first time at this location. It was our anniversary and they made it a special day with a surprise dessert. Waiter and staff were all very friendly. Will be returning!

A surprising experience. The service was great. Food was delicious. We had the filets. The lounge area had someone on keyboard singing yacht rock songs, that was fun.

As my navigation system took me down 59 I passed the expected location and thought that I had made a mistake entering the address. But no, the restaurant has moved about a year ago. I had a lunchtime business meeting and I think that the layout at the old location was better. The server was welcoming and very helpful. The lunch special was excellent value at $18 for a three course dinner. I had the salad which was fresh and tasty followed by the chicken which was first class. Then a tree leches to go. When I got home I have to say that it was probably the smallest slice of cake I have seen, but it saved the waistline! Overall it was great but loses a star for the decor and a lack of atmosphere, that admittedly may be better in the evening. I will try it again in the evening. So it may get that fifth star!

Service was fantastic. We celebrated our anniversary and the staff when all out with a glass of champagne and anniversary dessert. We felt special. The chicken and salmon was tasty too

Service and Food was 5 stars. Elegant and cozy. Our server was friendly and attentive with attention to detail.Seated promptly appetizers including the Calamari and Grilled Garlic bread are a must try if you have not already .Beef tips were served with whipped potatoes and they were delicious. Dessert was White Chocolate Chip bread budding topped off with ice-cream, This was my forth visit and plan to get back soon. Worth theatric from Fulshear!
