This isn't our first time eating here; this time, we wanted to write a review for this charming little mom-and-pop eatery in the Sugar Land neighborhood. We appreciate the consistency and deliciousness of the food served here. This is one of the best places to get lamb noodle wonton soup. The hot, delicious, and well-seasoned lamb noodle soup always hits the spot, regardless of the time of day—be it breakfast, brunch, or dinner—or the weather. This lamb soup will make your day 100 times better.

The buns were stale and had a strange smell. The meat filling had lymph nodes in it. Such low-quality ingredients! Another meat pie was so tough and dry in my mouth that it blocked my throat and nearly choked me to death! Their cold noodles were just okay. It was the only thing I could eat. I won't be going back.

By far the best noodle restaurant in the Houston area, serving authentic style noodles from Henan in central China.
The entrance is a bit confusing - you have to go into the supermarket entrance, past the sign saying Mala Sichuan Bistro, and then look for the restaurant in the mall lobby. It can get busy during peak hours, so time your visit accordingly.
We always order the Henan Huimian (lamb noodles with handmade wide noodles), and they are always very authentic and nice. The cucumber starter and quails eggs make nice accompaniment.
To summarise, if you are looking for the vibes of a small Chinese hometown restaurants, this is the place for you. It forgoes the fancy decorations, and concentrates on providing good food.

I had high hopes for this noodle place, but unfortunately it was a big letdown. The noodles were overcooked and soggy, the broth was bland, and the meat tasted like it had been sitting out too long. On top of that, the service was incredibly slow — we waited over 30 minutes even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Staff didn’t seem interested in helping or even acknowledging us. Definitely not coming back.

Always great henan pulled noodles 烩面. We live in NY and often go to flushing which is known for good northern Chinese cuisine. This place is our preferred taste. Every time I come back to Houston for business trip, my wife has me come back to bring her something off their menu. Very tasty highly recommend their noodles.
We have been coming here for the past 3 years. At least once a week! Consistently good. Lamb noodles, spicy noodles, beef noodles, chicken wings, even tofu with peanut sauce is great!!

This restaurant offers a truly authentic Henan dining experience. Excellent service. The food is absolutely delicious, with noodles that are fresh and visibly handmade. Best lamb noodle in town.
热干面 Hot Noodles with Sesame Paste is delicious. 红烧牛肉面 Beef Noodle Soup is above average. And, the soup is amazing. We didn't finish all the soup, and took the leftover home. Use the soup to cook another meal.. Goodness, the soup is good. and, I love 肉夹馍 Meat Buns
