Out of the 5 dishes we ordered, only 2 were good but not “wow”.
Their wings were crispy, spicy sauce - but who goes to a Thai restaurant for wings?
The pad Thai was good but on the sweeter side, spice level 1 is not spicy at all. When we asked for more spice, they gave us the sauce that’s on the table, not the one’s they actually put in pad Thai in the kitchen (they said it’s just red pepper flakes in the kitchen!?).
The kids meal was disgusting - boiled chicken with gummy previously frozen vegetables, even I spit it out after my kids refused to take another bite.
The spring rolls peanut sauce was yuck - watery, fake peanut sauce probably from a can. Then they filled the spring roll with a bunch of different herbs and veggies that’s typically not in a spring roll, making it taste weird (who puts turnip in a spring roll!?)
The egg roll was golden crispy but the filling was yuck, nobody liked it. They had strings of taro that just gives it a weird flavor.
Service was ok, had to ask multiple times for the same thing (there were only 2 other tables).

OMG! My new favorite Thai food is at Zapvor by Thai Spice-it’s a new dish on the menu Curry Tumaric Rice With Fried Chicken, so long Pad Thai tho that’s very good too. Run don’t walk to get you some-perfectly cooked and so flavorful Thai food. You will thank me.

We went there this weekend around late afternoon, on Saturday, and after I paid for the food and left, the restaurant charged my card twice without my permission. This was not related to the food bill but small sums of money that they thought they could take out of our account, without us noticing. Highly unethical. They refunded one of them but have not returned the $4.00 they took out of my card without my permission. We will not be eating at this restaurant again. Good luck running your business like this.

I had a lunch on 4th July with my friend. Both of us like Thai food a lot and wanted to give this place a try. The food was totally tasteless. The service was horrible. The waitress was rude and trying to justify her bad service. When we gave a low tip and she returned that tip and gave us a lecture on how they make a low wage and count on the tip. They need to know how the tip is earned by a good service and a good attitude. I had cashew nut chicken and it was so sweet with mushy vegetables. My friend had ordered Larb Gai which at other thai restaurents in the area come with many lettuce leaves. Here they gave us one lousey lettuce leaf. When asked for the reason, she again first gave us lecture on how things are expensive and they are trying to cut cost. Really? First of all you do not have the typical lunch menu due to holiday. On top of that you will try to cut portion sizes. With all this rudeness and lousy food, you want a full tip. Never going to this place again. We dine out all the time and this was one of the rarest bad service we receive in a thai restaurent in Sugar land. Better stay away from this place.

Fantastic Thai Food!
Zapvor Thai is a true gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We loved the tom yum soup, Chicken satay, Tom kha soup, basil fried rice, Pad Thai, red curry, green curry—perfect spice and authentic taste. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether dining in or ordering out, Zapvor never disappoints. Highly recommend!

All in all, very good food and service. My daughter order the Chicken Pad Se Eaw (L3) and I had the Green Curry with Shrimp (L13). This came with a spring roll, salad and soup, so you don’t need to order more than if you want. My daughter really wanted the chicken satay and egg fried rice, which was too much for lunch. The Thai iced tea was a tad too sweet but the meal was very good.

Best calamari in Houston. The crab fried rice is one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. You will thoroughly enjoy this place.
