The bbq ribs are amazing, got a half rack with 6 ribs. The flavor was smokey and had layers of flavor. Tried there ham, wasn't the best I had but pretty darn good!Would definitely be coming back with family and friends.

Man I’ve been going here for like 2 years now and I still love this place hands down the best ribs here it’s the only thing I get from here now literally falls off the bone and very juicy and tender and the sauce is so immaculate 10/10Vegetarian options: If your a vegetarian i would recommend you to try the baked beans, smoked cabbage, baked potato, salad, and green beans although I haven’t tried it.

im an OTR Trucker, i have had alot of BBQ throughout my life and always wanted to go to Texas and try some. accidentally stopped for bathroom break and realized i was in TX. had to get some and BY FAR the best BBQ i have EVER had!!! best accident EVER. thank you to the folks at Shorty's so very much!!
Worst place to get BBQ. Soda machine only had one option, didn’t put my chips or my husband’s Mac & cheese in the bag. Service is terrible. The food was good but the staff can’t be trusted. The area is iffy, never again stepping foot in this place.

Some of these best BBQ I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is a real ole school style vibe. You walk in there and the smoky aroma of excellent bbq will hypnotize you. A huge menu, portions are awesome, and amazingly priced! The ladies that helped me were super nice, great conversation about bbq! I had the three meat. The meat does not need sauce at all but when you add the sauce, it’s even better and didn’t think that was possible. Brisket was tender, potato salad and cowboy beans are amazing. I didn’t order any but I did get a sample of the smoked cabbage and it can’t be beat! Sleep on it if you want to and you will regret it! This place is awesome!!Parking: TRUCK PARKING!!!!
The worst BBQ place I have been to in 20 yrs, the brisket wasn't smoked just cooked, no smoke ring visible. The sausage was definitely store bought and cooked no smoke flavor tasted like Eckers sausage links. Smoked Cabbage wasn't smoked. I could go on but I won't.

Brisket and bologna were on point! The ladies were far too kind!A great little gem for a trucker to get some lunch and quick 30, split, or overnight. Not too much parking (maybe 10-12 trucks; depends on how creative some drivers get with the lot).For an out-of-business gas station turned restaurant, it doesn’t get much better. Definitely don’t judge this place by its outside appearance. Go inside! You won’t regret it!
