Had lunch here Friday as part of a group of 11. We called ahead and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. I don't know our server's name, but she was fantastic and the service was very quick. The fried pickles were great -- nice and crispy with just a little kick to them. I had the fried fish plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. Thin pieces of fish breaded with crispy cornmeal. Just like the fish I grew up eating in South Mississippi. Delicious! I loved the green beans as well. They were southern style with some pieces of tomato in them. I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place and never even noticed it. Would definitely return, especially on a Friday when they are serving fish!

I just found this gem. The steak is FANTASTIC AND MELT IN YOUR MOUTH tender. I am looking forward to lunch for the fried chicken I have heard about. My friends and I have decided we will go often.
Food is OK at best but service is absolutely horrible. Gave them more than on chance and was the same bad service every time. I am pretty sure the last time it was the manager or owner that went out of her way to let us know that it was an inconvenience for us being there to eat. I will not inconvenience them again. There are too many places that actually appreciate your business.

I came here with my husband for lunch on a weekday. It was packed. There weren't any tables so we stood in line for one to be available. As soon as a table was available, the older couple behind us pushed past us to grab that table because they have "4 people in their party". It really doesn't matter how many people you have. That's just rude. That was an unpleasant experience. People do watch out for older people who takes advantage like that and get away with it.I had the fried chicken plate. It comes with 3 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. Great texture, a little greasy and a little under seasoned. But you can't beat the price for the portion.Don't let the outside and lack of ambience deter you. You have to come try it at least once.
The food and service were amazing! We are not local at all but will definitely be back!

We had 2 different burgers which featured hand formed patties, and which were delicious, but the onion rings were quite greasy, and the fries were just okay. We will go again for burgers, but will try different sides. The special that day was chicken fried steak, which we were told was quite delicious.

Above average comfort food. This place includes a bar, 2 dining areas and a casino type lower area. They allow smoking in the back casino type area and the cigarette smoke passes from there into the main dining area/bar area at entry. We asked them to open the 2nd dining area which was closed when arrived, and they did, allowing us to enjoy our meals without the cigarette smoke. Suprising hole in the wall type place that you would never expect to be so good.Parking: Gravel/dirt lot.
