We live in a small town with 3 Mexican restaurants, I'm 35 and this is by far the BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I wish we lived closer. The staff was great the atmosphere was inviting and everything we ordered was fresh and homemade.

Four of us ate here for dinner and it was a really great experience. If you like hot salsa, I especially recommend asking for the salsa verde when they bring out the chips. It is REALLY hot but REALLY tasty. We ate a lot of Mexican food on our recent trip to Texas and I can say, the salsa verde at this place is my #1 favorite salsa I had on the entire trip. But it's not for people who can't handle spicy, it was also the hottest salsa I tried! Wow. The rest of the food was good too. Beans, rice were all good. I got tacos. I forget what everyone else got but I remember everyone liking what they ordered. Also the atmosphere in here is nice, it's kinda cozy and dark, a lower ceiling and warm, wood paneling. Service was very good. The staff here were very nice. I love the location in downtown Taylor, it's easy to walk here and also easy to find parking, pretty much a best-of-both worlds of accessibility. Prices here are cheap, this place offers great value for your money!

Best American breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuit perfect every time. No eggs pre-scrambled sitting around drying out here!
