Food is just okay. Nothing really stands out anymore. Not really worth $20 per person with a drink. Steaks are lousy cut. Food sits for long periods of time. Salad bar is the best thing about this place. Fresh crisp lettuce and fixings. Desserts used to be spectacular. Now they are lackluster.

I've been eating here every week for 20+ years and been happy, but today all the food was definitely stale as could ever be.
You can tell the catfish has changed or has been fried in old oil. And as always, my biggest complaint is the seafood salad having celery in it doesn't do it any good at all, as a pro cook myself.
It takes all the flavor away from the crab. If you're going to put celery in anything, you should make one without it. No other restaurant uses over amounts of celery like Sirloin stockade does. It's terrible and not a good recipe. I would eat there every day just for the crab salad if the celery was taken out, and too much red onions too.
So, for now, we will not be eating here until the new owner makes it right, after all these years, stale food and celery as stopped me from coming back.
Sad, but all the above are facts.

Two adults ...price was Forty TWO DOLLARS. Food is mediocre. Table service was great but it's not worth anywhere near forty dollars. Was there on a Monday afternoon around 6pm.

We love Sirloin and come here every week. Being empty nesters it’s cheaper and easier for to come to Sirloin. The food is always consistent and good. The real bonus is seeing and interacting with Karen. You can’t go wrong with Sirloin in Taylor.

Not too long ago, 2025, my husband and I walked up to the door and read a notification stating Golden Corral was closed due to failing the health inspection. To this day I have yet to see Golden Corral's inspection score card posted for the public to see. I thought restaurants are required to display those score cards in a public area to be seen and read by the public.
