I absolutely love eating here. The seafood has been constantly great for many years. The cooks know how to prepare the food perfectly. I highly recommend that if you are hungry for seafood or Asian food, you must give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

They are a little expensive, but the food is worth it. I had the seven large fried shrimp. They were huge, light, and crispy. My husband had the catfish - four very large pieces. They have a larger menu, plenty of options. Servers and other staff were very attentive.

The Restaurant was empty but it was after Lunch , it did not stop the service … super nice and the Food was so good , portions was great and the seafood was top quality big scallops big shrimp and super fresh … We would love to go often but we are over an hour from there … if you are in Taylor go stop by and eat up

The shrimp gumbo was not good at all. I also had the Grilled Salmon and Shrimp and the best part of that were the sides.

Service was great but the food was eh, not exactly worth the money. Just more of you go because it's really the only seafood place.

The Food was very good and the service very friendly

This was our 1st visit. We have neglected going (since last October) due to the hit or miss reviews. Today we decided to try it. I'll say that this was pretty good overall. Is it Paw-Paw's Catfish House excellent, no. For the portions & price, we thought it was reasonable. We will be back. The baked potato, loaded was fantastic. Cole slaw good but could use a little seasoning. Hushpuppies were okay, nothing special. Catfish & fried shrimp were very good & huge portions. I wasn't a fan of the cocktail or tarter sauce but that's just personal preference. Give this place a try.

Looked online at their menu. It looked delicious and prices were reasonable so we decided to go for lunch on Saturday. Arrived and only 1 other couple was there. Waitress was very nice. As we looked over the menu, we noticed it was not the same menu prices as on line. We asked the waitress to clarify. (the menu had hand written changed prices). The items were approximately $10-12 MORE than the online menu. (Seriously). Even each of our menus were not the same, $3 difference in prices. Waitress went and got us menus with the same "higher" price. I understand prices have gone up but at least be consistent and honest. As of this review, 9/24/24 their website has been removed from the internet. On a positive note, we left and went to try Bayou Shack again on Hwy 79 @ A.W. Grimes. Let me tell ya, that is some of the best food we have eaten. Homemade cocktail sauce is amazing. And the gator bites and fresh catfish!!! MMM. Everyone in our party loved it. Texas Bay lost customers with their greediness. We love Texas Steak and Seafood but THIS is not the same thing. I could kick myself for not taking a pic of the different menus that they gave us. Beware!!!

This is an amazing seafood restaurant. The prices are fair and the quantity and quality of the food is above par. Texas Bay is my family and my favorite place for family dinner nights. The fried mushrooms are superb and the seasoning and size of the fish fillets are huge and well worth the price. I Love Texas Bay in Taylor, TX.

Great food, great service. It's a very large building and we went at a very slow time, so it it was very open. Lucy was incredible, she, helped us with our few questions, highly recommend it, and we got frog legs....

Wheelchair accessibility: Couple of handicapped spots in the lot has just a little incline, but it's all on the same level, so there's no real issues for most
