My sister and I were driving back home (from out of town) we stopped to get take out. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. 5 out of 5 stars good southern food. I will definitely make the 1 1/2 hour trip and eat here again.

Super good food. Great portion sizes. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. We really enjoyed it. The ceiling fans were all on high and cooled of you food quickly. It was clean and nicely decorated.

We had the meatloaf collard green yams cornbread and sweet tea & the chicken fried chicken Mac & cheese yams cornbread and sweet tea.also a slice of buttermilk pie, The food was beyond great and reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming also its a MUST WE STOP BY AGAIN!!! 5 STAR RESTAURANT

Amazing chicken fried chicken!! So tender and savory with batter fried to a perfect golden crisp. The restaurant was super clean and staff was very happy and friendly. They're moving to a new location 2122 N Stateline soon. Looking forward to visiting again at the new location!

Coming into this place is like waltzing right in the back door of Mother Kelly's kitchen. The staff is unbelievably friendly, making the already amazing food all the better. Take your pick from any of their items from the mystery cake to the chicken fried steak--you won't be disappointed! Good portions, great atmosphere, and wonderful memories. A must stop here in Texarkana!
That's the real deal! Somebody cooked that lunch.... chicken, potatoes and gravy, corn and cornbread casserole. Did I say something's out that casserole??? Mmmmmmm...it was fine!Good job folks!

This was AWESOME! Pancakes were a huge hit and my omelet hit the spot for sure. Atmosphere is what you'd expect at a diner, we loved it. Most certainly a local favorite so I'm so happy we came and checked it out. Service was fast and friendly with prices were they should be, WINNER!

Sorry, 5 stars weren't enough!! I am so impressed! Chicken fried steak-amazing, chicken Spaghetti - unbelievable‼ Pork tenderloin over rice... don't even get me started-yummy! The service was friendly, the ladies room was clean and they had real Splenda on the tables! I loved it. Do yourself a favor and go.
