I would like to personally think Kara who was instrumental in helping my husband pull off my surprise birthday party at The Blue Ember. The food was delicious! The service was amazing! Everyone that came said they enjoyed the food. The ribs were awesome! The sausages were delicious. The slaw was so good. Everything we had was wonderful! We look forward to eating there again. Thank you for a very memorable night.

The BBQ is nothing special. It tastes okay but not great. I would say the biggest issue is consistency. We've been a few times and the brisket is okay sometimes and then other times it's somewhat dry. The slices are thin as well. It looks like the brisket is over trimmed. The best items for me are the pulled pork sandwich and sausage. But again, consistency between visits is not there.

When I was there, plenty of seats available. I ordered sliced brisket or I should say sliced FAT. The sides were small portions. A bit pricey. Sorry, but there are to many BBQ places to go back here.

Blue Ember catered a wedding in Hope, Arkansas this past weekend, and let me say it was exceptional. I have worked over 200 weddings as the DJ, and this was the best BBQ and sides I've ever tasted! I also cook a lot, and Blue Ember does it right! Smoked sausage, brisket, pulled pork, beans, potato salad...all incredible! The staff was amazing as well. They make their own sausage and different flavors of BBQ sauce that made it all stand out! Really, really good! I ate too much and was miserable on the drive home! Grabbed some extra to eat for lunch on Sunday, and it was remarkable again! 10 stars! Don't even think about using anyone else! Best BBQ hands down.

Don't waste your money. It's overpriced for what you get. The BBQ is edible, but middle of the road, if that. The brisket had a lot fat in it. The sauces are some of worst I've ever tried. The sides are mediocre are best. Big Jakes blows this place out of the water and for less money.
