Just stopped in Texarkana on our way home from Spring Break. Jonesin’ some brisket and found this place down the street from our hotel. Carry out order was extremely fast, server was exceptionally friendly, and the FOOD… THE BEST BRISKET! Our kids destroyed the burnt ends and love the Mac & cheese! 1,000,000 stars out of ten!
I love this place. I always have to be the one that asks if they can chop my pork up fine but they don't complain at all. Their Kickin' Apple BBQ sauce is Amazing. Great food, Service and Fantastic Staff. They are one of the best restaurants in Texarkana. I highly recommend Blue Ember. 👌
We recently stumbled upon Blue Ember Smokehouse while driving back from Arkansas, and what a find! This family-owned gem exceeded our expectations with its delicious barbecue and surprisingly delightful dessert.
Blue Ember clearly takes pride in their craft. The meats were cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. We especially enjoyed the ribs.
While the barbecue was fantastic, the real highlight was the Waffle Sundae....
