Bummed that I'm just passing through on a road trip and won't be able to regularly enjoy this. This restaurant is truly something special! Every dish is made with so much love and care, and you can taste it in every bite. I got noodles with chicken and dumplings and egg rolls. The flavors are absolutely incredible, and the attention to detail in both the food and service is outstanding.

Very tasty! We were looking for a good Chinese restaurant and stumbled on BOkkeum (Korean) and thought we would give it try. Simple menu to pick Fried Rice and either veggies or a protein: ckn, beef or shrimp. We tried one with the shrimp and the other beef. Both were great. We also tried the egg rolls. We made our 2nd trip and tried the spicy Korean fried chicken and the other was the veggie fried rice. Also delicious. The fried chicken is just chicken (no rice or veggies) so if you order this and want rice/veggies also, order 2 and share. It's a large portion and way too much for me for just chicken (I needed the rice and veggies to balance it out). Next Future trip we will try the noodles! It's small and quaint, clean and great service. They seem to do a lot of drive through pick up.
This place is delicious and the staff are extremely friendly! Ate here a few months back and their bulgogi is the best I've had! 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

This is one of the best asian restaurants in Texarkana. Simple menu but lots of flavor. Love the veggies that come with each meal. I always get extra zucchini. This is not fast food. It is cooked to order and is excellent to go.

Should of realized what kind of restaurant this was when walking in and only seeing 2 people @ 630pm food was ok egg rolls were over cooked and chicken fried rice was children’s plate with mostly vegetables… and the price was too high for the portion I recieved. . Almost 16 dollars for meal .. definitely not worth …… if you’re looking for overpriced children’s portions at adult prices this is the place …

My husband and I love Bokkeum! The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are huge, so I always get two meals out of it. It’s worth noting that this place is locally owned and run by a husband and wife, and they are so nice and hard working! I noticed a bad review here bashing them for “inconsistent hours” due to them needing to close last second during their normal hours recently. It is just them two running it, and they had an unfortunate family emergency (this was addressed on their Facebook page). We’re all human and have things come up, and a little compassion goes a long way. Do not let this silly review stop you!! This place is delicious and worth the stop!
Oh, and don’t forget to get an order of fried dumplings. They are SO GOOD!!

This place has always been fantastic with both food and customer service! I absolutely love the special chicken. I have always had great experience talking while the food is prepared and they take genuine interest in the customer experience. I have noticed some reveiws discussing their times and closures that I feel should be addressed. As a small/local business ran by 2 people, life happens. When you only have 2 people running what I feel is one of the best quality Asian cuisine places locally, I'm far more understanding that sometimes they may be going through things that the rest of town has no business knowing. I will continue to go here for the delicious food and to support this small/local business because not only are they wonderful people, they have outstanding food! Would recommend to anyone in town!
