For a Monday at 5pm the food was disgusting, ordered 3 piece chicken and okra and both had a rancid oil taste, Mac n cheese was gummy. The two piece fish was terrible as well, one filet was so thin, it was almost all breading. The 2nd piece looked decent but it so wet inside it was inedible, only one of three hush puppies edible, the other two you couldn’t even bite into them they were so hard. Will not return.

Chicken E is probably the best chicken house in town. The service is always friendly. The food is always good. The facilities are always clean and orderly. For a fast food eatery, they are a solid place for lunch or dinner with a good menu selection.
Update 7/16/23 - Be sure to check your order before leaving. This location seldom gets it right. Today, one side was completely omitted and the same dinner got a roll when a biscuit was ordeted. Order was entered correctly, just filled wrong.Original ReviewExtremely slow service. It took 25 minutes to get two chicken strip dinners, their most common order. Usually decent here, but it's apparently gone down hill. Then, when I got home my order was wrong - a minor discrepancy but still wrong.

Went and had a two-piece chicken and got home opened it up, and there was a long piece of hair wrapped around the chicken. So I called and told the manager and she told me to bring it back I told her that I was on my way to work could I just get another order tomorrow and she told me no I had to come today.

Visit there almost dayly as large sweet tea is 1.00 and the pies are two for 2.00. Great fried pies . Apple and cherry . Good with the powered Suger but messie so get napkins. Chicken always fresh and have a great 5.00 box if you will eat dark comes with drink too and gravy and mashed potatoes.
