I think this new location is still getting the knack. They didn't have enough dark meat, it would be a 15 minute wait. Got a mixed order, then had to wait on the okra. Last time waited 30+ minutes for family fish...very expensive. Time before didn't have enough chicken; would be a 20 min. wait. I understand that this is a smaller location and they have to estimate demand. Customer service 50/50. Sometimes excellent, sometimes lacking.

The lady over the speaker was rude & kept telling us “order when you’re ready” , even after I asked for a minute to browse the menu as a family of 3. Went in hopes of trying baked chicken, only to find out they only had thighs. So I said never mind, wanted to try the surf & turf. I asked for 2 of them with okra & fries as the sides. Only to get to the window to pay for 1, with no objection bc I was just ready to go. When I got home they gave me the total wrong order. Except the sides. I got a fried thigh, 2 baked wings, okra, & fries. No drink. Was hard to figure out how to access their driveway as well. I’ll stick to the one on Richmond rd if I ever decide to eat golden chick again . Only giving the food the 1 star bc the roll was great! Everything else was cold & WRONG

Arrived before 9pm, was told that the fryers were turned off and that the cook had went home early. We waited an hour for food ? because they stated that they had to use the tender fryers and it would take a few minutes longer than the chicken fryers. Once our food was ready, we were then informed that it would be an additional 8 minutes on rolls. Quality and service was very unacceptable.

The food at golden chick is great and there are a few things for vegetarians too. Unfortunately, there is nothing fast about it. Once I set my expectations at waiting for 15 minutes then I was much better with my experience. The store is always super clean and the employees are nice. So, definitely go, but plan to wait, it's worth it.Vegetarian options: I enjoy the corn nuggets and fries, but they have potatoes and green beans that are good too.

Was told it would be 3 minutes on the sandwich. Okay, no problem. Then I was told to pull around front because I was sitting on their timer. I refused. 13 minutes later I had my sandwich.

I love the other locations so we tried to eat here tonight. We went inside and there were 3 employees behind the counter. Not one acknowledged us. They were side eyeing us and acting like we weren’t there. So we left and went to McDonald’s next door. Probably won’t try it again.
