Excellent down home food! They had many protein options and sides. The catfish was seasoned perfectly and crisp. The beef tips were so tender and match deliciously with the rice. Purple Hill peas and greens were top notch! We also were very impressed with the friendly and quick service considering the restaurant drive thru was about to close and had a line out to the street. Best home cooked food of any restaurant in Texarkana. ive tried 80% atleast of the restaurants in Texarkana. Mr.Arnold is a true chef and can cook any type of dish. From home cooked soul food, comfort food, BBQ, he has his own sauce that should be bottled and sold. Steaks , seafood whatever he puts on the menu is incredibly well done.

Saw their post on Facebook and thought I'd give it a try. My best decision of the day! Everything is so good and the portion sizes are great. My daughter says the candied yams are the best she's had! I loved the chicken and dressing. I will definitely return. The line was long but completely worth the wait.
