Iwent for brunch today and ordered a cheeseburger and tots. Being the cook inam, I pay attention to details....Tots were the crispiest, best tasting I've had anywhere, and yes they are better than Sonic tots. The burger was good as well. You could tell the patty was handmade from fresh ground beef and seasoned well also. I'll definitely put this on my list as a lunch goto. The service was outstanding as the waitress check on us multiple times making sure we we're good. Food took a lil time to come out, but that's to be expected from actual home cooked food. I highly recommend if you come to Texarkana, Shorty's will be a very good hole-in-the-wall experience!!!!! BTW....They only serve breakfast and lunch.

I bought a Grill Chicken salad and it was $11, I will never do that again because it was worth it. Next time I’ll go back to Jason’s Deli where the salad is WORTH YOUR MONEY!

Good people really it a family biz they know how to a company I think it in its 3rd generation owned rib eye and egg breakfast was grate I like the chocolate long john with Bavarian cream like I sed good people
