Food has always been good and Order is always right! Just don't come here in a hurry because they are always slow! That's my only complaint so far but if the food is good and fresh I don't mind. The prices are low too.

Staffs were on therir own didn’t care for customers. Ordered 3 burgers wich were cold but, fries were good. Wont recommend to anyone.

Like another post on here, should have probably turned around when we arrived to an empty parking lot. Ordered for me, my wife, and kids. Both kids wanted applesauce. They were out of applesauce. Subbed to beans, they were out of beans. Had to get fries for both orders, which was not what they wanted. Then when I went to get ice for my drinks, there was no ice. My kids grill cheese was more like cheese bread and the food is not what I am use to getting from a Steak 'n Shake. There was all of two employees in the place and neither seemed to be the most competent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! Eat somewhere else. You may have better luck down the road about two exits down, attached to the gas station.

The burger patties are so thin they were see-through! Hardly any seasoning on them and way too many vegetables on such a small bun. Steak and Shake used to be much better than this. I don't know what happened to them. I won't be back! Total waste of money, except the tea was good!

My family and myself went in today @ 1:11pm. Had to wait 25+ minutes. Wasn't greeted with a friendly face. Both workers were in a piss poor mood. They were EXTREMELY slow! One girl had an attitude when I was just waiting at the counter for our food. my husband didn't get his food. I then overheard one girl ask the other girl if she started yet she said no this was 15 minutes after I told them they forgot it. We were told the cook didnt show up. I had to get my husband to the airport so he didn't even get to eat. They were not that busy. 2 workers should haven been plenty to get the job done. I even heard one of the workers tell a customer that asked for condiments here you can put them out. I did call cooperate waited 15 minutes no one picked up.

We arrived at an empty parking lot. That should have given me a clue. The place was entirely void of customers and I stood at the front counter for 5 minutes before the two employees even acknowledged me standing there. Ice machine was down and the burgers tasteless. S&S is better than this. Sad. Next time I’ll just drive the extra miles and go to Freddy’s!

To start off, the service was great. The food not so much. Tasteless burger that called itself a steakburger. Fries that didn't even have a potato taste. On the plus side the shake was very good. With all the great burger options in town I now see why the parking lot was empty

Almost noon on a Tuesday. Wasn't sure if it was open because it looked closed. Ordered a burger only, drove around to the window and literally waited 10 minutes before somebody came to the window to ask what it was I wanted on the burger again. It looked like it would be a great burger, but was disappointing. It was a fair price at $3.89, but I wouldn't put it on a list of burgers you have to try here in Texarkana! I would recommend going on up to Mooyah's or Reggie's for an exponentially better burger and service.

We got to our motel around 8pm, checked in and walked over. There was no one else in the store and our order was quick. But the quality just wasn't there from visiting previous Steak N Shakes. Very greasy, and the fries tasted old.

Empty parking lot on a Sunday around 5pm, only two workers seen stocking and cleaning inside. The young female worker took our order and waited on us patiently. She was soft spoken, but was polite and was knowledgeable about the menu and sauces. We took our seats, all the booths and tables seemed clean and ready for customers. The young male worker and the female worker got right to work cookIng our order, which was ready speedily. After getting our order, everything tasted good, and I noticed the female worker going around the far side of the restaurant checking on areas and cleaning as we ate. Both of the workers were polite as we left, they had to have been bored, but they kept busy! Only four stars because ambience was not ideal, there was a high-pitched beeping/buzzing noise that was incessant while we were there. The women's restroom seemed fine when I stopped in, but my husband reported problems with the men's restroom, missing soap, broken door and low water pressure.
