I've walked by the store several times but have never stopped in. Today I decided to stop and I bought a piece of yellow cake with chocolate frosting and it was probably the best I've had in my 45 years. Moist and the frosting wasn't too sweet, just right. Highly recommend!

It is my first time to try Susie Q's yesterday. I really love the concept of having homemade items and baked goods on busy days. Yesterday, I picked up meatloaf, hamburger steaks, chicken spaghetti, Parmesan chicken, some sort of pork chops in gravy, cupcakes (red velvet, cookies and cream, lemon raspberry ) and sugar cookies decorated for Valentine's Day. All of my items tasted good. I am so impressed. I will definitely be a regular!

I went to Susie Q's to pick up a few single desserts that my family could eat together on my wife's birthday. The coconut cream pie was fantastic. The chocolate sheet cake and lemon cake were both really good too. My daughter loved her strawberry cupcake. The place also sells casseroles ready to bake, and homemade jellies and jams, as well as a wide variety of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pies. Most of the desserts they sell are ready to purchase in single servings. We really enjoyed their desserts, and we will definitely be back.UPDATE: I've gone back a few times since I wrote this review, and I've tried several of their refrigerated meals, already cooked and ready to reheat. The chicken and rice is probably my favorite, but the hamburger steak, meatloaf, chicken and dressing, chicken spaghetti, beef spaghetti, Texas casserole, and lasagna noodle casserole are all good.

This is a great precooked ready to eat food store at an adorable price. They have a great selection of sides, entrees, and desserts. This place is now me and my wife's new favorite place to go. Most sides and entrees need to be popped in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 min. or until warm.

Stopped in for some pie but alas, not a single slice of pie to be had. They had been open for about an hour so long enough for things to be on the shelf but not long enough to be sold out on a Monday. Their cupcakes looked delicious but we came for pie.
