Living in Texas City, this is a regular stop. Love the grilled seafood and steamed veggies, and the catfish is to die for. Hats off to the staff, always friendly and helpful

Tonight we went to celebrate my cousin’s Birthday and there were 23 people. We did not make a reservation because we didn’t know we needed one. The waitress made accommodations for us she called in some help, put tables together and we all got to celebrate as a family. We had the most wonderful waitress!!! The food was amazing we all had a different variety of food and all was delicious. Thanks for the wonderful service and awesome customer service. We definitely will be back.

Management needs to keep local vagrants and beggars out of the restaurant while people are trying to eat

I eat here A LOT and I've only had lil minor issues BUT TODAY... I called 4 times no one answered. The 5th time I called, she answers and says.... Baytown Seafood, hold on. I stayed on hold 20 MINUTES just to pull up and there were ONLY 3 vehicles there and when u walk i EVERYONE was seated AND eating. No one in line whatsoever and no one behind the counter. Meanwhile.... im STILL on hold. They lady came up and she was like pick or order. I said I've been trying to order for 20 mins (while showing her the phone for proof). She said ok, what's would u like. I said a discount being as though I've been on hold for no reason.. (keep in mind .. IM STILL ON HOLD) . She said oh someone must've been on the phone I said NO she answered and said hold on and put the phone down. She said on ok. What would u like to order. I looked at her like REALLY .....

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and impressed.

Stuffed flounder and salmon were both excellent! Fried pickles were so yummy.
Mozzarella sticks were good, but have had a lot better.

Fried shrimp and catfish were very good as well.

Salad was fresh, but reminded me of a bag iceberg mix.

Waitress was attentive. Restaurant appeared clean. Evironment was casual and family friendly.

Definitely recommend and the prices were great!

The food here is actually really tasty. We always get the specials they display in the front of the restaurant. The blackened flounder and shrimp w/ dirty rice and mixed Veggies are flavorful and savory!

We were traveling from Louisiana and decided to stop at Baytown Seafood — so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything from the service to the flavors exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend to anyone passing through or in the area. Great experience all around!
