Went there not long ago and young girl was very disrespectful to another employee she looked like she was new she was talking very loud in front of all the customers to the other employee while the other employee looked embarrassed I definitely don’t support people like this definitely won’t be going back after Boyd’s needs to hire better/respectful employees I believe the girls name was Kay Kay she always has an ugly attitude with people every time I go

I’ve shopped at Boyd’s One Stop in Texas City before and didn’t always have issues, but this last time was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I paid for a quart of shrimp, but when I got to my fishing spot I realized they had only given me a pint. I went back and even spoke with the manager, and she told me there was nothing she could do about it.
That kind of response shows a lack of care for customers. There are plenty of other bait shops nearby where you’ll get what you pay for. I won’t be coming back.

I’ll be honest I didn’t wanna give them a poor rating because I know how it is as a business owner to get that but I purchased live croakers at this location and I can tell you there’s a huge difference between buying it here and buying it elsewhere that I’ve had several times before. Today I purchased a dozen and a half croakers and by the time I got to my fourth croakers this morning the rest of them were dead. I think Boyd’s could do a better job of trying to keep the bait a little bit more lively prior to purchase maybe by keeping the temperature of the water cooler for these bait to survive. When they had some of the bait in my bucket I could already tell that they were dying. I’m not an expert, but it’s just something to think about if you’re buying croaker from here.

So pleased with the preferred Crawfish sacks I purchased for my crawfish birthday bash! They were very large and delicious, considering it’s the end of the season! I highly recommend Boyd’s for live crawfish! I will definitely purchase more in the future!!!

I go to Boyd’s in Santa Fe every weekend to get Crawfish. The staff and the crawfish are by far the best around and always consistent. Today I got 10 pounds and went to eat them and they were a bad batch. I called and expressed my concerns and they replaced my order no questions asked. If you are getting crawfish anywhere else that’s your damn problem! #Boydsaintnojoke

Went with two friends to fish out on the dike on Memorial Day. We stopped by to get a fishing license for one of my friends, and that was fast and easy to do, so props to them for that. However, the crawfish we ordered was DRY, BLAND, and SMALL. While it was cheap, it definitely was not worth it.

Bring back the old workers cause these new workers rude and don’t pay attention and have the nerve to catch an attitude when you correct them on messing up but I want spend another dime there! If I plan to fish the Dike I’ll just make the trip to Galveston to get bait!

Not sure if it’s the season or not. Came in early morning before sunrise for some bait. There was no live shrimp and it was $5.99lb for dead. The shrimp were so damn tiny. If you can get bait elsewhere do it. And again maybe it’s the season or time of day but it was a waste.

Seasoning was great and they were cooked perfectly but the crawfish are on the SMALL side. I don’t believe they clean their crawfish either, poop or shell.
