FYI if you plan on buying cooked crawfish from Boyds they've knowingly weighing the bags to 2 lbs even though they claim to be 3lbs. You have to buy in 3lb increments. My husband got the bags home today and we noticed the bags were smaller so we weighed it on our food scale and it was only 2 lbs. He went back up there where the manager says he was told by the owner to weigh them out like that. Basically the owner is ripping customers off. I'm sure they have plenty of customers to sustain so us not buying from them again won't matter but just so others know. They know what they're doing.

The food was good but the bait shop, is a no go. First time coming to Texas City decided to grab a bite to eat. Boyd’s Cajun food was great! Super fresh seafood at a reasonable price. We stop next door to their bait shop. Store is small but have the necessities. Only reason why I gave 1 star is the cashier customer service. Lady was rude, feels like she didn’t want to be at work. We said thank you and she didn’t respond “you’re welcome” or anything. She said looked and assist the next customer. Very very very rude. Next time go the bait shop across the street!!!! Much better service. Only come for the food!

Terrible food, ridiculously and exceptionally and even impressively rude wait staff saying make it yourself then when complaining about food to them. Save yourself the trouble !! Stay away !!
