“They’re back and now called Medellin Burrito. IYKYK If you remember the Donut shop on Broadway in Galveston aka Bronco Burritos owned by Mr. Adolfo Medellin, then you need to visit the food truck in Texas City! The burritos are super good as ever! We tried the OG burrito aka Bronco, the Carne Guisada burrito cooked ala Mexicana (with jalapeños, onions and tomatoes) wrapped in freshly made tortillas- it smells sooo good and the beef was melt in your mouthgoodness. It taste just like how I used to remember! Best burritos and green sauce eva!!“
“Fun place for the entire family! Parents loved to visit with friends and have good drinks food and music and the kids ran around and played their hearts out. Even the teenage boys had fun throwing the football around and hanging out!“

“Let me tell you about my evening at the Shrimp Shack in Galveston—it was the kind of experience that makes you want to write poetry about fried seafood. The shrimp? Perfectly golden, crispy, and so fresh I swear they waved at me from the fryer. Each bite was like a little crunchy hug from the Gulf. And as if that wasn’t enough, the sunset decided to show off. Sitting there, stuffing my face with fried shrimp while the sky turned shades of pink and orange, I felt like I’d hit the jackpot of simple pleasures. Shrimp, sunset, and sea breeze—what more could you want? Highly recommend. 10/10, would shrimp again.“

“Taqueria Mateo is easily one of the best taco trucks around! My fiancé and I got tacos, and at just $2.50 each, they’re super affordable. The tortillas are fried to perfection—crispy but not too hard—and the meat is incredibly moist, never dry or burnt. Their red and green sauces may seem light consistency at first, but they pack a serious flavorful punch! On top of that, the service is what keeps me wanting to coming back. Friendly, efficient, and the wait time is pretty quick. Definitely a 10/10 experience all around! Looking forward to going back.“
