You have to here early before they sell out of alot of items on the menu...the weekends here are awesome...I'm a Mexican and it's a black owned and black crowd but I felt at home as we should here...we were like family dancing, eating, and having a good time...try anything here and I promise you'll like it...if you go on a weekend make sure you stay for the music and fun..

My son and I were looking for some grub after a day at the range and Wrice BBQ was the first result for restaurants in Google Maps. We knew the moment we pulled up out front it was going to be good. Roosevelt, the owner, did not disappoint. Not only was the food piping hot, his engagement with us prior to getting our food was refreshing and a real delight. He seems like a real renaissance man in this next career venture he's had for 7 years. When you're close by, swing in to this gem, Wrice BBQ, for some great conversation and some outstanding Texas BBQ. Highly recommend!!!

I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot at Wrice Barbecue and had the opportunity to meet the owner. He was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming, allowing us to use the space for our shoot. On top of that, I got to try their barbecue, and it was absolutely delicious! The food, the service, and the overall atmosphere of the establishment were top-tier. If you're looking for great barbecue in a great environment, I highly recommend checking out Wrice Barbecue!

Decided to eat here after the car show in Texas City. I had high hopes for them but sadly was very disappointed by their food. 3 meat plate was a joke for $25 (see pic) the sides seemed store bought especially the deli style potato salad. The food actually looked sad. The ribs were chewy and overcooked. The sausage tough not sure why there was 20 plus min wait and all the food came out cold. The ladies working inside were very nice and accommodating and there was good atmosphere had pool table and tvs but won't return
