I just wanna say what a awesome place,,the food was excellent and the service was on point,SHONA was incredible lots of knowledge and very attentive and I will be back for sure.

I came in recently this past Sunday to meet up with some old family friends and enjoy a long overdue lunch that I've been looking forward to for quite some time. We were sat and then waited on by Shona, who was beyond above par! It was quick, accurate, and friendly service that I honestly believe deserves five stars hands down. Definitely recommend!

I like to visit this restaurant, nice atmosphere and good food. But their avocado toast is made from pre made factory guacamole kind of stuff. It tastes very sour. I would have expected it to be fresh avocado made in the kitchen, it was definitely not. If you dont want to use fresh, dont put it on your menu.

I told the waiter when we were ordering we wanted our appetizers first and then we'll follow with the main selections I told him that I wanted the food fresh and hot I will not eat cold food appetizer came Vindallo Wings came and they were not crispy!! 😞 Brother food waffle was cold
Wife -New Loster Benedict grits were yellow corn Cold !!

2 Orange Juice oranges were old it had a bad taste that they use old Oranges
When you tell your waiter exactly how you want your food prepared fresh and hot and brings you the opposite so either he didn't turn it in that way or he just didn't care.!!

Mrs. Shona took wonderful care of my friends and I this morning!! Every time I bring my friends or family into the Black Walnut the food and service is always top tier!! The chicken and waffles and Lobster Benedict are my go to dishes!! Shoutout to Shona for her wonderful personality and overall service!!

Great location for weeknight dinner. Full bar, coffee, soda fountain and patio. Order at the counter and pick a spot to sit! Food was fantastic and kids enjoyed the burger and penne.

Black Walnut Cafe in The Woodlands never disappoints. I ordered the Big Plate breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I was looking for the smore's latte on the menu and couldn’t find it, but they made it for me anyway. That kind of service is hard to find. The patio at this location is really nice, so we sat outside and enjoyed our meal while it rained. Great food and great service every time.
