Like... why? Why am I tipping so much money if they're gonna give me crap like this?
I've also seen some pretty disrespectful interactions when less confident customers try speaking to the cashier. They'll cut you off a lot.
Uber eats order UBERFDD42 Andre C #176 10:20 AM. This is our third time ordering from them, but the second time our order has been missing parts of it & these are $100+ dollar orders. This is not acceptable. Cinnamon pancakes were missing & the Cinnamon French toast looks like toasted bread.
The last time we ordered, my chai tea which I paid for the large size was half full& no icing on my pancakes.

Update update: Finally, the person that took my order wasn't stoned off their ass smelling like Amsterdam. Improvements incrementally.
Update: Super rude staff, no greetings, noone taking orders, took 8 minutes to get someone to walk over. Overcharged on simple items.
Increasingly more woke every visit, very unprofessional staff, everyone looks high af

3rd time in a row now they’ve either missed items from an order or given me the wrong item. No ownership of their mistake either - just a ‘yeah we forgot an item’
Bad management.

Don't waste your time - How one place can get orders wrong this consistently is beyond me.
I've been trying to go here and like it for almost 2 years now, but after my ~40th messed up order, it's time to for me to just stop trying all together. I don't know if it's the kitchen staff, how the front takes the orders - if there a huge lack of communication, but whatever if it is, it's extremely aggravating.
I get that the place is popular, busy, and likely understaffed(?) - In generally, I understand that there are peak times, and you'll sometimes have to wait a little while for you order. That has never bugged me, because that's understandable. Even in all that chaos, I'm usually very understanding of a messed up order, or some ingredients that maybe have been missed.
But I purposely go here at time that it's NOT busy. And still, when I'm one of 4 other people there, something on my order is wrong - missing ingredient, wrong bagel used, it doesn't matter - SOMETHING will be wrong. I get literally the same order, every time: egg and cheese on an everything bagel, and somehow that manages to get messed up.
I'm fairly certain that someone in the kitchen either doesn't know or doesn't care about what bagel they're grabbing for sandwiches, they just yank one off and use it.
And I know I'm not alone in this too, almost every time I'm here - there is someone at the counter who already got their order, explaining what's missing, or wrong with it. This is a problem at this location and its only getting worse.

I’m a longtime fan of Brooklyn Café best bagels in the region. Overtime as they’ve tried to scale up, the staff has had a lot of turnover, and the service has become mediocre and impersonal. Hours have also adjusted and squeezed out some local longtime customers. A bagel shop not opening until 7 AM on a weekday is tough. I used to buy bagels a dozen at a time to bring to work downtown, but I can’t do that if I have to wait till after seven to get them.

Tried a scoop of the chicken salad and threw it out after one bite. It was massively salty and runny. The chocolate chip bagels have maybe 3 chocolate chips in the whole bagel. I’m heading to the other NY bagel restaurant down the street from now on.

After going to 3 different places to get a bagel l was so excited to try Brooklyn cafe. I ordered on the app, a plain bagel with cream cheese drove 30 minutes home to open up my food and it be wrong. I called and they offered me a free meal but unfortunately I wasn't going to drive all the way back up there and they said they would email me a coupon and did not do so.

I'm a student and work part time doing deliveries and can tell you the difference in attitude as I come for work or as a paying customer. You are horrible, pretentious people. Please be better humans

Cait let me know I wasn't important. Ignored me and greeted everyone after me. I guess she doesn't notice black men. When I asked her about it she had an attitude and continued to ignore me.
